Smile Question about which yogurt ?

I was at the supermarket yesterday trying to find a low sugar plain yogurt. I could not find any? Am I just missing them? I am on phase1 still so I would love another option for breakfast or snak. What brand are you all buying? Thanks for the help.

You want a sugar-free plain yoghurt - no fruit on Phase I. In Canada the brands are probably different but Danone and Silhouette make fat free yoghurts.

Ruth, isn't it really a no sugar added yogurt? Since the milk in the yogurt adds natural sweeteners? I use a fat free one that has Splenda as the only sweetener. It is 6oz though. I can't find a 4 oz one that is fat free and no sugar added.

Yes, no sugar added. The sugar in the milk is lactose which is a "good" sugar.

I shop at Tom Thumb. I think it is Blue Bunny. It is the one that says 85% less calories. They don't have a plain but they do have vanilla which is what I ate on Phase 1. I switch between vanilla and fruit ones. Target also has the same brand and has more flavors but I don't go there as often. Target also has lots of whole wheat pasta. Tom Thumb hides their truly whole wheat in with the organic foods and only has a whole wheat/enriched blend in with the regular pastas.

I am in phase two and I buy the carb control ones from Dannon. It has 3 net grams of carbs per 4 oz. I use it for a snack.
