Question Store Cupboard Essentials

Thought this might be interesting.

What diet are you on? What five items do you always make sure you have in your cupboard/fridge/freezer etc since you started dieting? What piece of kitchen equipment do you find most useful for dieting?

Slimming World

Skimmed Milk (used in coffee, tea and pasta and sauce)
Wholemeal Bread
Batchelors Pasta and Sauce
Low Fat Fromage Frais (Used in sauces)
Spray Oil (Used for loads of stuff including eggs, roast potatoes, baking etc)

Good Non-Stick Frying Pan
- I splashed out and bought a tefal one (and a matching wok) - it is one of those ones with a red dot to tell you when it is the right temperature - wouldn't be without it now.

WW.
I'm never without low fat yogurts in the fridge.
Cabbage, cauliflower and swede are always in the fridge drawer and I eat a lot of it.
My staple most nights is a baked potato with lf butter spray and I panic if my kids use it all up and I have to run out to get more (lf butter spray)
I always have apples, banana's, oranges, and pears in the house, everyone eats them and for the most part, thay are only one point each so make a good snack when the munchies hit.
I also always have a jar of peanut butter in the cupboard, I LOVE the stuff, but I try not to eat it at all, unless I have flex points left or I'm having a BAD day. Just looking at it seems to add pounds to me. But I figure if I can have it in the house and do without, then that shows I have the will power to make myself thinner

My staples seem to be:
Weight Watchers Bread
Frozen potato wedges (for a lower calories chip alternative)
Tescos lower calorie burger
Vodka (because it has less calories than beer)
Diet Coke (for the vodka! )

I drink a lot of diet coke too but I always buy the caffeine free stuff as ever since I gave up caffeine when I was pregnant it gives me a headache. I also buy a lot of Muller lights and also savoury rice - yummy.

Coke sucks unless there is booze in it I always wondered why it was so popular over here and now I know why its cuz they have no competition! If Barrs pop was sold over here it would blow Coke products out of the water You have so much choice over there Vimto and Tango are a couple of my Faves

OMG I love Dandelion and Burdock. Sainsburys do a good sugar free one - free on most diets. I drink litres of the stuff when I remember to buy it - lol.
