: Whooppee....I feel good...down 1.6....The SubWay diet must be helping, although we are not on it every day...but you know, those subs are really good and filling! Sorry Debbie that you didn't have a loss this week, but maybe you will next week. I rode my bike to my meeting (about 3. 5 miles) and then rode on to the gym after and walked on the treadmill for 1/2 hour. Needed to walk longer but I have a few things I need to do this afternoon. Do you keep your journal? It really works! I never bank or count extra points for exercise. If I do, I do not lose. Anyhow I am back for FREE again...It has been a long hard road. I am going to have to hide from those pounds this week so they can't find me.. It is so easy for me to gain...just not fair is it? I don't have any little ones, so I won't have to worry with Easter candy! Thank goodness that won't be a challenge.....Hang in there Deb, it will move eventually and don't forget to journal. Later...

WooHoooo! Judy..Congrats on your 1.6 lb loss. That is great!!! You go girl!! You've done great with getting moving today too. Good for you....

I do keep a journal. I plan an entire week in advance and write everything down as I eat it (when I snack). I don't use my banked points either. This week was the 2nd time I did since I started. My birthday was last saturday & my hubby took me out to eat. I rarely ever eat out either. Who knows why these things happen. Like Denise told me, this is all chemistry...Just have to keep going & change things up a bit and see if that helps....

Thanks for the encouragement

Talk to you later
Debbie

Hello All!!

Judy ~ way to go on your loss. That is awesome. And with a bike ride before, even better.

Debbie ~ you said you never bank and never count exercise points, maybe you are under eating. I know I platued when I was exercising and not counting the points. That's why WW incorporated exercise points in the new Winning Points instead of making you wait for your 10%. Maybe you could try it for a week and see what happens.

I'm even more sore today than yesterday. Which is very weird to me, but I guess it's not uncommon. My leg hurts really bad today so no gliding for me. I'm lucky I can walk today, and my foot is killing me. May 1 and that insurance can't get here soon enough for me, that's for sure!

Well, you all have a good day. Rose says Hi! and keep the thread alive while she's gone.

Nascar, I tell you I have tried eating at my low range, the last few weeks I have been eating at the top of my range. I have tried some days low, some days high & I'm still stuck. It is frustrating. I do get in at least 2 servings of fat a day, I get my milk in and even take calcium supplements. Guess I have to play around with it some more. Now that I have gotten to my last 13 lbs the weight loss has slowed dramatically. Before I was losing 1-2 lb a week without even trying.

Sorry to hear you feel so beat up today. I'm sure you are looking forward to May 1st. Soon enough the day will be here. Just take care of yourself.

Tell Rose I said Hi! if you speak to her

Talk to you later ....
Debbie

Debbie ~ I can truly sympathize with you...I have been there the last 4 months! You just can't figure where you are going wrong. I think maybe I was eating too many carbs....And they do say maybe you are not eating enough but that is so hard for me to accept...I am always afraid to try more afraid I will put on more and won't be able to get rid of it You are young too and that should be easier...Here I am at 62 and past menopause and that old fat just wants to hang on! That really sucks! We may have to email the Duchess for pointers Those last pounds are the tough ones! I am lifetime but want to go another 15 for my personal goal...we'll have to see if I have any success.....Have yoga tapes ordered....I hear it really makes you lose inches...
Nascar...so sorry you are still sore and having so much pain with your foot....You must have really done a number to your body.. You might try soaking in a bathtub with vinegar...My hubby swears by it for sore muscles (about 1 cup in bathtub). He soaks when he has sore muscles from golfing...says it works! Won't hurt anything Hope Rose is having a great time in Vegas and winning lots of money...I can almost hear those slots jingling.. I just love slots Hang in there....Later

Default Hi Everyone :)

Sorry it took me so long to check in. Man, what a week! I have been helping out at my boys' school, then had unexpected company show up... then it's time for T-Ball practice/games! sheesh.... it's nice to have things back to normal & have you guys here

Judy, congrats on your loss!

Nascar, sure hope your foot is feeling better. Let us know if you try Judy's "vinegar bath"

WW Gal, I haven't tried the Sansone tapes, but have seen lots of chat about them. I wouldn't mind getting one the tapes since the weather will be warming up here soon. Walking indoors sounds better than walking out when it's in the 100's! lol!

Whats that noise??? ching, ching, ching... could it be Rose at the slots? Good Luck, Rose!

Guess what I got last nite?!? A friend of mine went to WW and called me letting me know that they had JUST put out (finally) the WW Journals that I have been waiting for. I zoomed on over and bought 4! Two are for my sister in Florida... they were sold out there. LOL! I really like the weight-loss graph, ect at the beginning of the journal. Looks great.

Sorry this is sooo long this time - I don't usually write so much. I'll be short next time!

Default Hello! I've been reading, not posting...

Hi Everyone,

Just back from WW. I didn't weigh in today cuz I'm lifetime. As of last week I had lost about 13 pounds. I've been to the Y usually 2x a week. Walking at home (outside) with the improving weather.

So, what did I do? Came home and had 2 slices of choc. cake. I eat when I'm stressed. This is a good stress - we have just (this afternoon) started to try to sell our house. The idea is "simplify" which won't be understood by some of our friends, but who cares! Anyway, we're telling friends and neighbors who might be interested because the market is really cooking here....

I'll be checking in to help me stay away from the cake. This afternoon, the sun is breaking thru and I'll go for a walk - hopefully by my prospective new home...if it's meant to be.

I had no one to talk to at the moment and had to vent and get away from the cake. It's great to see all the new names. I've been away from the site for at least one month. But I've been reading it all along. It's a very busy site. I'll be back. Thanks for listening!

Default Hi Pogo

Welcome to the group. Yes, being here is better for you than eating the cake. I know how stress can be and the need for venting. Yesterday was my day for needing to do that and I was not so fortunate to have a computer when it happened. Come in, hang out, vent all you like. We have a bunch of sympathetic ears here.

Debbie ~ I understand the frustration. Believe me. I wish I had some sage advise to offer.

Nona ~ good to see you. We were wondering what had happened to you. Glad to see it was just the daily ins and outs of the real world.

Judy ~ I may have to try that. I'm still soar, but not as bad as before. I wonder if throwing some vinegar in my foot massager would help the foot. Knowing exactly what is wrong with it would probably help too.

Okay, the weekend is almost here and it's going to be a busy one. Coloring eggs, hiding eggs, buying presents. We've decided to pass on the candy this year. I don't need it around and my daughter still had peeps in October from last Easter, so I'm getting her something that is supposed to be lasting rather than something she makes last. Busy, busy, busy. Hopefully the running around won't be too hard. Hopefully I'll get time on my air walker this weekend.

The rest of you, have a wonderful Easter and enjoy your families.

Default Hello

Hi everyone!! I hope everyone is having a great Easter Weekend!!

I am still doing great staying within my points and exercising. I have lost 8 pounds so far and it will only be 3 weeks on Monday!! Hooray, I love seeing that number come down!!

wwgal, I do not have that particular tape but I do use Leslie Sansone tapes and I absolutely love working out with her. She keeps it simple, but yet you get a good workout.

Everyone have a happy and safe Easter!!
