Hey. I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I am a 19 yr. old (freshmen) college student from So. Cali. I have been overweight since my junior year in highschool. I have yo-yo'd for for the last two years, but since Jan., I have steadily been losing weight. I have lost....17 lbs. and 14.5 inches. Yes, yes. I have been doing Curves, 3 times a week! I also try to do pilates. In the exercise aspect of my diet, I am entirely pleased.
I am still losing, but I am getting a little sick of continuously changing diets as I have been lately. I only change between to, so it's not that bad, but it is so hard to stay on one.
I change from WW to Calories like every week, and I am desperatly attempting to stay on just one, either way I lose weight, and I am happy about that, estatic actually, but I would like to be a little more stable. I love WW, but I hate counting those points, and the same goes with calories.
I was wondering what you ladies/guys thought about these two "diets".
Which one do you trust, do you think I should stick with calories or go the weight watchers avenue?
I am not into the Low-Carb thing, nor am I into the starve yourself to death, or exercise beyond control, so thanks for anyone who was gonna recommend those, but that isn't my style.
So, if you have any advice, just send me a little note.
I want to thank everyone in advance for their responses.
**I will also be posting this in the newbies section, so if you see this again, don't wonder why... !!!
welcome tasha. try ww for a week aand see how that goes and then
counting calories. ww does count for you, because everything has point value.
keep us posted. glen
I decided to stick with the Weight Watcher's. It is alot easier, and I have had results with Weight Watchers before, so...I am so excited. I lost 4 lbs. since I posted this on the 6th. I think I had water weight left on my body from the TOM and that left and so did a few lbs. YEA!!!
Girl you are beautiful. Good for you on you weight loss. When I was losing weight before I would try different programs, sometimes it's good to shock your body, if you feed it the same too much all the time it gets used to it and not as effecient so it's not a bad idea to raise or lower calories or vary the food you eat just to keep the body burning fat efficiently. Good Luck and God Bless You.
Well thank you all for responding. Yea, I heard it was good to change your diet every once in a while. I just bought a calculator for weight watchers online, so I am gonna get my moneys worth, ! So, I will be staying on weight watchers for a while and it is only 19 more lbs. until I can get to the "20 pts" per day category, and that is exciting to me, I took another photo today that I like better, so I attached it!
