Default SW Question

Am I going mad?

I have just done two Green days - lovely and not at all hungry. Isnt that Batchelors Pasta N Sauce stuff delicious?

Anyway, I'm just planning my food for tomorrow, and I'm having an Original day. I want to have M & S Beef In Black Bean Sauce for supper, which I have the Syns value for, but am I right in thinking I cant use rice as a Healthy Extra? I assumed I would be able to, but cant find it on the lists anywhere.

If not, why not? I can have pasta on an original as a HE, so why not rice? Looks like I will have to count it as a Syn.

I can't see it as an original choice I have never done an original day myself as I don't eat meat but I would of thought it would of been.

I think you can have a bit of rice as a healthy option if you use brown rice (you would probbly prefer white with the that meal) but check up the syns that it would otherwise "cost" you.

ok, here's another mad question.....Banana's - "average each - 4.0"
"Raw, whole - 0"

EH?

Just recently bought the food optimising book from ebay, I'd have joined a class but I live in the sticks and there's none near me - and there's no way I can afford the postal classes unfortunatley.

Bananas are free on all days if eaten raw ie normally

My book also says

banana dried slices 28g 7 both days

banana flesh only pureed/cooked 28g 1.5 both days and 4 syns average both days

So you count them if you puree/cook them I guess

Hi there

Just wanted to come in on this. Any fruit that is not fresh or frozen should be synned on SW.

Best wishes
