Default trisquets on phase two

does any one know if trisquets (not sure of spelling...lol) are ok on phase 2 I read the ingredients and there are no saturated fats or sugar, they are mad with whole wheat and soybean oil,. i read some where they were fine but i would like more feed back. thanks

According to the Good Fat, Good Carb Guide, soybean oil is limited so use sparingly. Another thing about Triscuits is that they have a lot of salt (except the reduced salt ones) and can also be addictive.
According to the above Guide, all crackers are to be avoided.
If you find where you read that they were fine, please let us know.

In the guide, Dr. A. says all crackers are to be avoided except for stoned wheat thins which are "limited". Probably because of the trans-fat which seems to be pasrt of the processing.

Ruth, can you explain to me why salt is a bad thing? I did a lot of quizzing of nutritionists and doctors about salt and they assured me that excess salt is only a problem for those who have high blood pressure and are part of the small percentage that are sensitive to salt. They assured me that eating a lot of salt does not cause high blood pressure. Why avoid it?

Hmmm I thought I saw that stoned wheat thins were ok I bought some but haven't opened them yet lol now I'm going to have to check!! I got the red oval farms stoned wheat thins. Does anyone know?

lol ruth I totally missed your post about the stoned wheat thins!! Well that clears that up gosh I'm such a dunce lol sorry bout that.
