Question

Does anyone have one of these? What brand? What do you like about it? Hate about it? I have been trying to decide to get one or not. I love the one at the gym but I don't have time to get to the gym all the time and wondered about getting one for home. Thanks for any information.

Hi Susan,
I do own my own elliptical. I spend the winter in Florida and my gym here has one. When I go home to Indiana, my gym there does not have one. I do like it. I have a Precor. They are quite expensive but I feel you get a really good workout on them and they are really are the latest thing. That is why I don't understand why my gym at home does not have any. They seem to have all the other latest equipment. Like any other exercise equipment, I am not quite as challenged to use it at home as at the gym....Also, they are quite large if you don't have a lot of room. I have a finished basement so I have mine there so it is not a problem. Hope that helps.

Hi Susan,

I accidently hit the enter key before I was finished. Well any way I just wanted to say that I own an Orbitrek and I love it. It wasn't too expensive (around $200) and it has a lifetime warranty so you can't beat that. I find that you get a great workout on it too. You can check it out on these websites www.collectibles.com and www.qvc.com and www. thane.com but I think the best deal is through QVC or Collectibles because collectibles gives you free shipping but QVC's starting price is only like $175 but works out to be about the same price after s&h and state taxes. Anyway whatever you decide to do please join us on the elliptical/air walker/ regular walkers thread. There are a great bunch of gals that post there and we'd be glad to have you post with us.

Default Ellipticals continued....

My daughter has one and loves it - Orbitrek. It is more stable than the cheaper models and not as expensive as the NordicTrak stuff. Sky's the limit on price so shop wisely!!! Carleen....
