Well, I can't really do sickly sweet - it's not in my nature! There is a woman in this village who just drips saccharine at everyone - and then you get to know her and realize what a horrible person she really is!

Today is the day I am blessed with our visit from the Hyper Pypers - two hyper adults, two hyper kids and one dog who is Lucy's sister. Need I say more? They are bringing dinner which is nice - I hope! I am sure it will not be on program but will do my best. I am making a large green salad and am going out a bit later this morning to get a real cheesecake from a young woman who is trying to start a business. Yes, I will have to have one piece.

Hersh did fine on the treadmill yesterday. Her comfy speed is 2 MPH. We will have to change that! We went to pick up more meat for dogfood and managed to get lost trying to find the place. It didn't really matter because it was a lovely day and we saw lots of baby animals. I am in love with those "oreo" cows (Belted Galloways?) and saw several calves as well as some colts. 'Tis spring!

I have coffee and now it's time for some perfect SBD breakfast. Any suggestions? Maybe oatmeal with strawberries. Yummy!

What's happening with you this weekend?

good morning everyone!
sickly sweet huh?? well i'll do my best.
last night dh and i took dd to dinner to celebrate her great report card, it was a spur of the moment thing, actually it is the weekend that all 3 kiddos spend with their father, the boys had already been dropped off but dd had late track practice so after we picked her up from there we went to our favorite italian place. it is nice spending time with the kids individually but i know the boys are gonna be highly ticked off so i will find something to do on sunday with just them!! i stayed op all day yesterday (except for the handfull of popcorn that jumped into my mouth from the bowl i was dumping )

we watched movies last night just a nice quiet evening. hopefully the rest of the weekend will be much of the same.

hope you all have a great day!!!

You know how ticked you get when your kids write/draw on the walls? The other night both kids cuddled up in bed with me and fell asleep, so rather than wake them DH slept on a couch in the TV room, and I went to sleep in my DS's bed. Written in red across the wall beside his bed in the delightful scrawl of an eight-year old was, "I love my Mom and my sister and my Dad." I guess THAT wall will never be painted again.

best I could do under the circumstances, Ruthie

Oh ellis how sweet!

Ruth maybe Lucy's sister can have a talk with her about boys!

JustJodi yes it is hard spending one on one time with each child but I agree it is very important. It's not real hard for Britt and I cause she is here all the time but with Zack it is cause Britt is never gone.

Last night after I dropped off the kids who were mad all the way there cause they did not want ot go home. Until they saw their Mommy and then they were ready to go. Good thing cause they were going! DD and I went out for a nice dinner. I was wanting a good steak and had grilled shrimp with it. I did eat a piece of bread first one since Jan. when I started SBD. I could not resist they were under cooked for some peeps but that is the way I love them kind of doughy! YUM! But I only had one. DD told me all of her dislikes about her dad's coaching this year in soccer. So it was a very productive meal and we had really good one on one time. Her and Zack and like night and day!

Today DH is gone to do a list of things so I will get cleaning on this wreckage that those girls left behind! Thinking how precious they are with every swipe of the cleaning rag.

I like the new post icons. I'm off to my OP day!

I participated in the Friday Rant and rave, and the day got worse. However, 2 pieces of pizza and 2 coronas did the trick. not exactly OP, but everyone was spared their lives I sent in my video for the today show diva, cross your fingers for me, I want to win!

Oh my goodness what a beatiful day we are having! It's 81 outside and the wind is blowing. I have all the windows in the house open and with the wind at 22mph sometimes it's a little to much. I walked in the dining room to find my tablecloth hangin on for dear life so I had to secure it with the chairs. They are calling for storms this afternoon but right now I am enjoying the weather. DH and I were gonna take the motorcycle out but one of my customers called and is coming to pick up her order and wants to look at some stuff so I guess we will stay home. Besides I don't like to ride when it is real windy out. How's the weather elsewhere today? Or should i look under the rant thread for that info! tee-hee

Good luck with the video, SweetieP!

Jodi, it IS difficult juggling quality time with the kids! I know our DD (14) gets jealous occasionally if her brother (8) seems to be getting some extra attention. We're really careful about dividing our attention equally between them. What she doesn't understand is that we had almost seven years alone with her before her brother came along, and I think he's the one who's been cheated out of the extra "cuddle time alone with Mom and Dad". sigh. Tricky. Very tricky.

Bamie, your house must be VERY peaceful now.
Weather? Well, it's snowing, darling. Freaking SNOWING!!! I hope your tablecloth blows away!

I had a GREAT first session with my personal trainer today. We did a big assessment thingy and a fitness test (I had to do situps. Oh, god), and I'm seeing him three times this coming week. Oh, and get this. He wants me to write down all the stuff I'm eating for the next few days and show him the results on Monday. I told him I'd be starting South Beach again today, and he said, "No. Eat as you normally do until I see you again." So I've had chips and chocolate for lunch.
