I don't know if any of you have heard of these shoes, but my uncle bought a pair and loves them. His knees are feeling so much better and he has had a couple of surgeries on them. Thought I would pass this on, just in case someone was interested. They are expensive, but if they help, they aren't so bad. If your insurance covers othepedic shoes, you can get the Dr. to prescribe them and have the insurance pay for them.

Please remember that as funny as they look, people who wear then are not laughing - at least not at how funny they look. RELIEF is the word here.

Joanne, good going on losing that 1/2 pound. That is great and so hard to do when you are nearing the end. I want to wish you a happy birthday as well. Glad it was good. Always take gifts

Happy Happy Birthday, Joanne!

You give me HOPE!!! (I know I'll never make it to your age, though! If the arthritis and fibro doesn't kill me my family will!)

Happy Birthday Joanne and congratulations on a half pound-it is significant. Brad put in an air conditioner-it works great. He is also going to put heat strips in the bedroom for nect winter. At night, it doesn't get too cold anymore. Hope you are getting better Meme. My feet, ribs, back have been so much better since Tai Chi-especially my ribs. Going to Red Sox game tomorrow. Be good everyone. Mima

Default Hey There

I saw those shoes at Burdines. The first thought was that I would break my neck if I wore them. I am glad though that some people can and do get relief.
It is another day to get things done..so bye for now...Joanne

Of course you won't kill yourselves. When you stand on them, the heel goes down level with the sole. It gives a spring when you walk, taking the pressure of the joints. My uncle got a pair of them a couple of weeks a go and swears by them. He has had two knee surgeries and still had a lot of pain. He also has a very bad heart so I think another surgery is out of the question. He is 75, so if he can wear them comfortably, you probably can to. Iknow they look weird, but I sure am going to go try a pair and see what happens with my back. You can try them for two weeks and see if you like them. If not, you can return them.

Hello everybody!!!! This is the FIRST time I could log on and not get shut down by ads. I have added new anti spam and pop up ad stuff but for some reason one particular ad comes up just as the screen for 3fatchicks is about to pop up and then I am done. Have to shut down.
I snuck on today and just wanted to say Hello to all. I am about to go low carb for the tenth time since Christmas. Wish I could stick with this. The guy I am seeing just got diagnosed with diabetes so I think we should both try to stick to a program. If the weather would stay warm I could walk some of my winter flab off.
My kids are still out of the house, one asked to come home and instead he let me pay his rent for a month. Isn't that awful? Now that I have had a taste of freedom, I don't want to give it up.
Hope you are all well. If I can't get this figured out, I will check in from work. Just gotta find my darn log in password!!!

Glad you liked the fudge, I still have my friends fudge in the freezer, they can't seem to make time for our gettogether. Do you like that PB rice kripie bar with choc butterscotch topping? I love those!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so bloated from too much salt, we do not use any table salt and when I get in packaged food I just hang on to it all!

Haven't given into the sugar thing yet, but wanting it more and more, that is why I do not usually limit myself , anything and everything in moderation I think is the key. I'm trying to wait untill I show a loss before I start back up. I do not think doing without sugar stops my cravings but makes me want it more, just have to learn to limit my cookies!

Happy those shoes look promising, but do you know if they hold orthotics, I have to use mine in all my shoes except my Birks. When my hips hurt really bad my mind visualizes a shoe with a big chusioned heel! How much are they? Why can't they put that spring on the inside so they do not look so weird!

We bought a Black and Decker in Walmart-$20-it pauses if the coffee is not done and you can program it-love it even more than the $100 one from Sears my son bought us last Christmas-don't tell him that. Hi Ally!!!!!!I have gotten shut down by the popups-infuriarating !!! Are you still in love-sounds it .We have missed you. Please keep in touch. Did you have a vacation in Fl? Now we have to find Anagram . Ally, I met Joanne for lunch-it was great!!! Bye for now Mima

Hi Candice. I don't know the answer to your questions about the shoes. However, today I will see them. I sure don't see why you could wear the orth thingys. We have the Braun, no timer. It is about $29.00 here, so it would be much cheaper for you. It makes the best darn coffee. I have had $100.00 pots as well, and the timer was not something hubby wanted. He gets up, gets his coffee going and when he is ready for breakfast, the coffee is ready for him.

Ally - nice to see you back. That ad that pops up when we first come on here isn't caught by the pop-up stopper. I wonder why not?? It is nice to have the problems of kids gone (the minor everyday things). Do the boys live together?
