Hi All,

DH & I have been cleaning all AM. I finally got all my clothes beat into baskets!! Pathetic, huh? Now I have to wash them and decide what to toss, bin, or keep. My friend is coming over in about an hour and we're going shopping. I need to buy some new clothes...just a few things. I definitely need a new lightweight jacket. Heavier than a windbreaker, but not as heavy as my winter coat, ya' know? And I really need some comfy work shoes.

Hope everyone's have a great weekend.

Hi guys,

Looks like we are pretty slow this week. Alex has been extra velcroish this week. I don't know what's up with him. There was a clown at the bd party on Sunday and he was so scared of him. We had to leave the room. Poor little guy. Today we had playgroup here. He was so cute, he was loving on the other momma. I've been going crazy getting him stuff off of Ebay. I've found some cute Gap stuff NWT. I just tried to feed him dinner and he didn't eat like he usually does. I hope he's not getting sick.

OK, gotta go. Hope everyone is having a super day!!

Hey, I've been home sick with a stomach virus. Started during the night last night, puked a couple times, and have felt horrible all day. I'm feeling slightly better now, but i have a horrible headache. Haven't eaten all day, except for a pc. of toast, a couple saltines, and a little applesauce. DH brought me ginger ale at lunch. I was soo miserable, I couldn't even get online earlier!

Karen, hope Alex isn't getting sick.

Hi guys,

Lauren: I sure hope you are feeling better today. I HATE having a stomach bug.

I ordered Alex a Britax Marathon on Sunday. We found a great sale so we went ahead and got it. It was supposed to be back ordered 4-6 weeks but we got a notice that it shipped yesterday . I don't know if my Momma feelings can handle moving him out of the infant seat. That means he's not a baby anymore . He's getting so big. I was looking up stuff for his BD party yesterday. I found what I want online but man, is it expensive. I'll have to shop around here and see if I can find it cheaper. My poor boy has an ucky nose. I guess that's why he's been sticking close to mama. During the day I can take it, it's at night that it really gets on my nerves. I know, bad momma!!

Hello to RR, Rabbit and Jackie. Hope you are all well.

hello all. Busy week here. DBS got here last night for a week. Ds arrives Thursday night for 10 days. I've spent a fortune on groceries!

I have messed up the last couple of days and had points left over. I don't think that is working well. I have weigh in tomorrow morning.

hope everyone gets to feeling better.

Hey All,

I'm feeling better today, but stayed home anyway. Got alot done around the house that needed getting done. Why is it that I'm more efficient when I stay home from work to clean, then on the weekend?!

Karen, where did you find the seat and for how much?? I have been looking, but never see it for less than 249., or it's less, but w/shipping comes to 249, or close. I really want one. I ended up getting all Peter's party stuff at Party City...it was like half the amount of the places online. It's just crazy how much they charge. I also improvised by getting coordinating solid color table clothes and plates instead of all in the sesame street theme.

Oh geeze Lauren, I wish I had known you wanted the Marathon. They were only on sale this weekend at GreatBeginnings.com. It was 199 with free shipping. I would have let ya know but I thought you were happy with the Roundabout. If I hear of them being on sale again, I will let you know. Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Rabbit: Have fun with the boys!! A lady on another message board I go to listed out what her 14 year old son and a couple of friends ate over a two day period and I was astounded!! I'm wishing thin thougts for your weigh-in. Good luck.

Karen, Oh Man, I really wish I knew!!! Actually, I have the Galaxy, not the Roundabout. We have a Graco Comfort Sport in the XTerra that I don't like. DH bought it because we really needed a second one, after he grew out of the infant seat, and didn't have the money to get a second Britax. Definitely let me know if you hear of another sale, that's awesome!!

Hey RR, Kaylee looks like she's into a lot of mischief in the first pic!! Cute haircut pics! I'm going to try once again to get Peter's done this weekend. He's gonna start looking like a girl soon! Then we're trying for 1 yr. pics! I don't care at this point if he's got a shiner in the pic...I wanted to get them done and send in his thank you's for his b-day presents, but he keeps wacking himself! Have fun on the "Race..."

Daycare called me this AM to tell me he was running across the play area and wacked himself on the corner of the wall. Got a cut on his eyelid, but you can't even see it when his eye is open. She called to tell me so I'd be prepared when I pick him up, in case it gets worse looking by then. She said he was fine, they tried to ice it, but he kept squirming away. He's such a boy...

Hi guys,

The Marathon came today! I can't believe it came so quick. I got the flag one. Now I have to figure out how to install it. I'm such a dunce with this stuff. I think I will go ahead and start using it. I was going to wait until he could go forward facing but, heck, we have it and all.

I'm sick today. I feel like ****. My allergies are kicking my butt. I can't breathe and my eyes are so watery. I've used almost a whole box of kleenex in the past 24 hours. Alex has a runny/stuffy nose too. Last night he kept waking up and I couldn't get him back to sleep. I was SO tired, I brought him out to the living room to the playyard. I put blankets and pillows in there and let him play while I tried to sleep. Didn't work. DH had to join us and Alex was just playing and playing. I finally got on the couch with him and nursed him to sleep. I think that it was one of my worse nights as a mom.

RR: Those are such cute pics. I don't think Alex will have enough hair to cut until he's 2!

Lauren: Awwww. Poor Peter. Running into the wall. Maybe we need to get him glasses!! J/K.

Gotta go. DH is coming home early so he can take my food over to the new mom. Our Mom's Club provides 5 meals to new moms in the group and tonight was my night. I don't want to go over with snot streaming down my face. I don't think that would inspire confidence in my cooking!!

I hope everyone is having a great day.

hi all. I am a turtle this week with weight loss - I lost .2! My leader really thinks it was because I only had 19 points one day and 15 the next. I think that's what screwed me up too. A very small loss, but something!

Karen - sorry you're still feeling poorly.

RR - cute pictures!

Lauren - ouch!

Well, Petey's definitely going to have a shiner!! It was starting to get black and blue when I picken him up tonight. It's slightly swollen, but doesn't seem to be bothering him. I have a coupon for Sears, free sitting and 3.99 sheets, so I think I'll make an appt. for Sat. for a haircut, then pics!

Congrats on the loss Rabbit, so what if it was only small!

Hope you're not too miserable Karen! We had our seat installed by the guys at the firehouse that are certified in installing them. They even had a hard time getting it in. I highly recommend having it "professionally" installed, that way you know it's in good. It doesn't cost anything, you usually just have to call and make an appt.
