Welcome, Greenbutterfly! There's lots of info to be found here. Why don't you start with the Phase I allowed foods list located here:

Welcome to The Beach!
I'll move this into Fat Chicks On A Diet where it will get more views. I'll delete your other post which was on a thread about something else.

Hi Greenbutterfly
I find this is nicer than Atkins because you can have as many non starchy veggies as you want, and also you can have beans and lentils, which makes a change. Last night I grilled some chicken, and then mixed it in to half a can of (ready cooked) green lentils, and put some fresh sage in, with red capsicum. It was great, and did not seem too meaty.

Breakfast people sometimes struggle with at first, but when the carb cravings pass (a few days for a lot of people) it is easier to feel happy with something meaty.

Good luck.
