Good morning!!!!!
Well, it is freezing cold here now- Dh actually told me not to take a walk in it. Guess this time I might just listen.......but will get a brief jaunt out around lunch time.

Sorry, I can't get personal now, just am up to my eyeballs. Nothing horrible, but the next 2 weeks will be hard to post. Work schedule is a bit messed up (here in NY the students take Regents exams, sort of a state proficiency test) and it throws all the high schools on mid day releases. Of course I still have the little kiddies too....so I am in my yellow limo a lot. Hope to get to WW tonite when I am out picking up Ds from bball.
Hope to catch up with you all soon.........and no Jackie I did not even think that you were lurking out there.........I know we all get busy, hon!!
Have a great day!
Ginny

Good Morning!
Spryng, I'm so glad you are getting to visit with Dh today! The few hours you will have with him will help you get through the next couple of wks. I still don't see how you make it that long without going crazy and being so tired with 3 small kids! When Dh called me last night, I was so tired I was hurting between my shoulder blades. (It doesn't help that I need to lose 30 lbs.)
Ginny, I hope your work straitens out for you soon! We will miss you when you can't post!
Hi Geri! I know you posted on the last thread, but I can't remember back that far! So I'll just say "Hi" and I hope you are having a great day!
How is your diet coming Candy? I'm still OP and DH has been very impressed! I usually don't stay on something very long!
Well, I'm trying to get my house cleaned up b/c my mom is coming over this evening and she is a neat freak!! I like for things to be put away, but with 2 kids to chase, my house is seldom spotless. I guess I'm just to laid back, but hey, I don't want to spend my every waking hour cleaning and making sure everything is perfect!
Well, I'd better go, the mountain of laundry is calling my name! TTYL!

Good morning everyone,

Just have a minute or two so won't get too personal.

Ginny, we'll look forward to your posts when you can...Spryng, glad you get to see Dh today!!
Andrea ... I know how you feel. Neither kid would nap yesterday so by the time Dh got home from work I was ready to burst That's why the 30 min treadmill walk felt sooooo good. Put on a Shania CD and walked away the frustration. Can't imagine doing it alone for so long.

Don't know if I'll get to chat later or not. Mom's coming for dinner and to watch the kids so we can go visit MIL in the hosp. Had her hip replacement yesterday. She called earlier to say all is OK.

Gotta run and get some laundry done.

TTYL

Hiya! Wow, I feel like I haven't been on here in forever. Spryng, the meatloaf sounds good. I'm gonna have to give it a try. I LOVE mushrooms! Hope you have a good couple hours w/DH today.

Andrea, I am doing pretty good op. I'm like you, I don't usually stick with anything too long but I feel so good that I can't imagine stopping now. This is the first week in forever when I have not felt like "nap or die" in the afternoon. I'm tired because I haven't been getting enough sleep but I am still able to function! It's wonderful. I have always been active so this past couple years has really killed me! Anyhows, I bet your DH is going to get a nice surprise when he comes home. Do you get to see him any within the next 8 weeks? Hope you have a nice visit w/DM tonight. I always like my house to be clean when DM or DMIL visit but neither of them are neat freaks, I am. Having kids puts a real damper on that though, at least for me.

Geri, glad you got your walk. I'm with you about the kids. Most nights I can't wait for DH to get home so I can have just 5 minutes of alone time. Hope all goes well with your visit to see MIL.

Ginny, thanks for starting the new thread. I guess none of us wanted the job as we were up to 4 pages on the last one!!! Hope things will be back to normal soon. Let us know how your WI goes!

Gonna go. Had a staff meeting this morning and was expecting to get fussed at a little about my pokey posting but nothing was said so I am going to take this opportunity to get on top of it! Hope you all have great days!!!

Hi all!
Well they changed all the smilies again.

Candy, if you try the meatloaf tell me what you think, ok? I don't know if it was because I was soooo hungry by the time I got dinner done or what but I thought it was fantastic. The best meatloaf I've ever made. Even the kids cleaned their plates!! I made mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it for a nice comforting meal. It was great. I even had leftover points for one of those smart ones chocolate cake! Yum. those are great too.
Geri, I hope your MIL recovers fast. Hip replacements seem pretty routine now a days huh? I hope I never need one. My MIL's knees are about to give out on her and the doctors are giving her a hard time about it because she's 360 lbs and they know that if she would lose the weight then it can be avoided. Did you see Oprah on monday about the gastric bypass surgeries? Very interesting. I taped it to take it to MIL but accidentally taped over it... oops.
Andrea, I don't know how I make it on my own 24/7 with three small kids either. I just do I guess. I'll tell you what... I can only do it with a very strict routine. The kids lay down for a nap around 12:30 - 1pm for two hours and that is my personal time. My decompression period, lol. I may nap, surf the net or do absolutely nothing, but it's my time. Then bedtime is at 9 pm and I get a couple more hours to myself. If it wasn't for a little alone time I probably couldn't do it either. Then every other week or so SIL watches the kids for 8 hours so I can have a whole day to myself. It's worth every penny I pay her. The two oldest will start headstart this fall and that will give me 4 hours a day with only Tanner which will be heaven. I can't wait. But I'm so used to this now. It's my life. lol. And don't worry about your house too much. Your mom can be a neat freak because she doesn't have children living in her house anymore... when kids are young just give in to a cluttered home 90% of the time. If you were to walk into my living room you'd trip over toys and books... it's clean but looks like a disaster because of toys, oh and don't forget the Fort the kids built out of couch cushions and blankets, lol. It's always something. But I know when they are older my house will eventually look nice most of the time.
Ginny, I hope things settle down for you soon!! And enjoy your meeting and WI tonight, I can't wait to hear all about it!
Well I guess I need to scoot. Getting excited to see DH in a few hours. TTYL!

Hi there

Sorry I missed you in the chat room Spryng. I was chasing Will around the house so I could throw him in bed. He's being rather naughty today. Won't listen worth a darn. A typical 2 year old.

I got my 30 minutes in on the treadmill although I had to stop like 4 times to go after Will ... Probably got much more of a workout that way

Mom's coming in about 1/2 hour and neither child will nap. I think I'll go lay down and let them do what they please....they don't know what they're missing.

Will check back in later.

Bye

Sorry I missed you too Geri! As soon as I logged on Tanner woke up from his nap so I got him up and then he wanted to eat and all that so I just now checked back in. Maybe we'll have better luck tomorrow. We can chat tonight if you like. Like at 9 or 10 pm central? let me know.
Well DH will be here around 5 pm... so I'm busy getting the kids together and trying to figure out where we will eat so I don't over do it on my points for today. Guess we'll have the burgers tomorrow night TTYL!

Yeah!!! My chat started working out of the blue today. I did the same thing I've done everytime but when it wouldn't work I went to look at my cookies. Didn't change anything or even touch anything but it asked about downloading that file again and this time it actually worked. Wow!!

So, what are those things, oompah loompah? Spryng, hope you have a great dinner with DH. We are going to Mexican tonight. I can have a taco salad if I don't eat the shell so I think that is what I will go for. I will really miss snacking on the tortilla chips. You never know, I may just decide to forgo the meat, sour cream and cheese instead but yuck!

I organized my pictures today and I am about ready to start putting them in albums. 5 years worth. It is really sad. I love to take pictures but I am really bad about putting them in albums which is kind of a waste cuz noone gets to see them packed away in a drawer! I do put vacation pictures in an album every year as soon as we get home but that's about it. Looking back at all those pictures though, they are sooooo cute as babies. Not that they aren't cute now but they are sooooooooooo cute as babies!!! Really makes me miss having a little one around. I'm not ready yet though for more reasons than health. I am 2 days late on my period. I got a couple pg tests from the office but I am quite sure I am just off because of those stupid, horrible, nasty, mean birth control pills. If I haven't started by Friday, I'll test.

Well, I'm gonna go finish up and wait for DH to get home. I'll try to get by this evening though you guys might be too late for me. Your 9 is my 10 and I really should be in bed at that time! But I might slip by. TTYL!!!

Good evening!

How was your visit with Dh Spryng? I'm sure it was great. I think Dh & I are going to call it an early night and actually go to bed at the same time so I won't be chatting tonight. I should be there again tomorrow unless something unexpected comes up.

Hope you can make it then Candy! It's been fun. How was your Mexican dinner?

I had a great tasting but mostly naughty dinner. It was BBQ baby back ribs, mashed potatoes & gravy and broccoli (at least there was a veggie). It was delish too. Had a few chocolate chip cookies too. At least I have been getting my exercise in so I don't feel quite as guilty. I have no idea how many points it was & I'm not even going to try to figure it out. I'll just be really good the rest of the week. I ate very light for lunch so that should help too.

Well, gotta cut this short and say goodnight. MIL is doing great after her surgery. She looked really good.

Hi to Andrea & Ginny and anyone else out there too.

Geri, my dinner was great. I had the taco salad as planned. Didn't eat any chips or the taco shell of my salad. Boy was it good. I had the beef with sour cream, cheese and guacamole. Yummy!!! I spent most of this evening sorting pictures. I am trying to get them all organized chronologically so I can put them in albums. I am also going to make scrapbooks for each of the kids with the extras. And believe me, there are plenty of extras! Is it really necessary to take 10 shots of a 3 month old laying on the floor? Or, and my personal favorite, a 2 week old sleeping in their carseat? How attractive is that? Must have thought it was a great shot at the time because there's about 100 of them from 0 to 3 months. Anyhows, that will keep me pretty busy for a while.

I'm gonna crash. Hope to be chatting with ya'll tomorrow. Mine seems to be working now.

Good Morning, Everyone!

It is indeed a good morning, for me at least! I hopped on the scale this a.m. & I've lost a total of 5# since I started my plan on 1/5/04!! Spryng: Thanks for posting the meat loaf recipe the other day. I'm going to try making it one of these days. Candy: I was the same way with my kids when they were that young. Now that they are 10 & 15, it gets a little harder to have them stay in one place long enough for a pic, or they make goofy faces for the camera. I did get a 1/2 way decent pic of the two of them for a Christmas shot this year. DD looked a little more chubbier in the face than I wanted, but ds liked what he looked like, so I went with his choice. As for scrapbooking....I've got all the supplies & my pictures are sorted by age/year, but my scrapbook & photo albums look kind of empty! (This will be my project when I get the basement finished!) Geri: Where in SE WI do you live? I live about 40 min. North of Milwaukee, are you close to there? That would be neat if we lived close to each other. As for your BBQ dinner, don't feel too guilty, you got your exercise in & that sure helps! I haven't added exercise to my plan yet. Once I make room around the treadmill & recumbant bike that are in the basement, I will start again. Glad to hear that your MIL is doing great since surgery. Well, I keep on getting pop-up ads & this is so time-consuming for me, so I'm going to close for now. Hi to Ginny & anyone else that I missed. TTFN

Good morning

Looks like the regular smilies are back. I wasnt' too keen on the new one's anyway. We need some Valentine's smilies!

Candy, pics of the kids . Newborns are funny. They don't do anything yet parents are always snapping pictures of them laying around. I have started scrapbooks for both of the boys. Way behind of course. That's one of the projects I need to start working on after they go to bed ... instead of snacking. I think I'm just feeling overwhelmed at the thought of all of it .

Andrea, how's it going without Dh? We're here if you need us.

Got 3 loads of laundry done this am and now Will's wanting to play. I think I spent too much time on the computer yesterday and not enough with him. He was pretty naughty but got my attention whenever he was. So I'm off for now. Plan on chatting at 2 central if I can.

See you there! Hey Suzi, you out there??? HOpe you didn't get lost during the crashes.

Bye for now.
