We just got home from taking Drew out to eat for his 16th birthday! Now he's going bowling with some friends. Even though he's still upset about not driving his car, overall he had a great b/day.

Did your Daughter have a good birthday? Tell her I said hi & happy b/day! Mom & Dad are in Florida for 2 weeks. She just called and they are in Tampa on the way to Lakeland. The gas prices here are $1.53-$1.60 per gallon and there it's $1.65-$1.85!! Whew it's high there!!!!

Doni, I'm glad you found us again! Please let us know how your mom is doing. How much weight does she need to lose? I think it's great that you are cutting back on the cigs instead of going back to smoking as usual. My MIL started cutting back a few years ago and has went from a 1.5 pack per day to 6 cigarette's per day.
Sher, I have my first class scheduled for the 26th of this month. I plan to offer beginners/intermediate/advanced and will keep rotating. All together I have about 12 classes planned, then I want to do some project classes. I have 4 people signed up now and really don't expect that many more from the flyers I sent out. I'm hoping after a week or so of classes, I can rely on word of mouth from my students. With limited space around my dining room table I'm keeping each class to 5 students.
I stayed Op again today!!!!!! I'm really liking this low carb plan. My appetite has decreased so much! I even have Steve eating low carb. We had Spaghetti Squash Alfredo tonight with grilled chicken. It tasted alot better then the name!

Tina-I took the citramax and chromium pills a long time ago and they did nothing for my appetite. Funny you should mention ebay. I just sold a fitness watch on amazon.com. I am trying to get enough money to buy a newer one. Would you pm me the details of selling things on ebay? I just started with amazon, and it seems you can only sell things that they have on their site. I did a search on the watch that I was selling and they had it in stock, but no used ones, so I listed mine and it was sold within 5 hrs. to somebody in Ca. I just shipped it off yesterday to her.
Sherry-Tell Drew happy birthday from me. Patty had a good birthday too (I think.) Mike made her the dinner she wanted, took her to buy shelves for her bedroom, and of course I had taken her shopping on Sat. and Sun., so she made out pretty well, not to mention the money she has received from all the relatives in the mail.
I just stopped posting to take a potty break. What does it mean when you put your undies on inside out?? I can't change them because I am completely dressed and my shoes are too big to get my pants over them. Please tell me it means I'll be getting money today!!LOL!!

Sherry, I really like the bar welcoming everyone. But my favorite yet is the spotlight with our names. I vote we should just use that welcoming banner all of the time.
Tina, a few of us are veterans to the thread, Sherry created the group in '99 and I joined within that same month, I believe. Vickster (Vicki) is an original...then most of the others soon followed. We want to meet one of these years, but everyone struggles with the time and money issue. I have talked to Sherry and Dee on the phone, but other then that, it's been the internet and a card every so often. I wish I could call each and every one of you....but back to the money issue.
I know it's been discussed...I think we should write Dr. Phil or Oprah since they are into the weight control topics. Maybe we could get on the show and have travel expenses paid!!! Would that just not be so cool!!!!
