Default Hi from Florida

Hi all, I'm new to 3FC - love the entire site, what a great resource!

I've been overweight for a while. I'm currently at my highest weight - 187. I'm only 5 feet tall (no inches over that!)

Right now my plan is to stop eating out (my husband and I are bad about that, we eat out EVERY meal) and incorporate exercise into my schedule. It's been 5 days so far and I'm starting to enjoy cooking.

Anyhow, hello and see you guys around the forum!

Hello! Sounds like you're making positive changes! (Its been years for me and I still HATE to cook!) Planning, persistance, and patience...you will get there!

Stay around 3FC, you can't fail! LOL

Cooking is highly overrated and i have lost 25 pounds since july 1 and have not cooked a meal..it can be done..you just have to make better choices and frequent places that will accomodate your needs..no fast food joints need apply :-)

You can do it..it's not about food..it's about the way you think about food..

Congratulations on taking the first step..and congratulations on giving up Pepsi..i am addicted to coca cola so i understand what's going on with that..i have had any brown cola in 25 years..i used to drink 7-up or sprite on occasion but gave that up in july..too many empty calories..

Hi I am from Florida also. How did you weather out the hurricanes?? I need to lose85 pounds. I live in Palm Bay and am hoping to find a walking buddy and or a diet support buddy in the area. It would be fun to have someone nearby to befriend, support, swap recipes, exercise, and hang out with.
