Default home from surgery

Well came home today from surgery, (lap RNY) I will have my leak test done on the 18th. Until then I am on full liquids. I guess I need to pray that my staples all are good! Doing fine on pain medications, so far I feel good. I was up and walking the night of surgery. even though they felt I was pushing it a bit

Marg

welcome home so glad to hear the surgery went fine. how long were you in hospital. just wondering why they did not do leak test day after in hospital. mine was done the next day.

remember take it easy we get to feeling good very fast when it is lapro but remember our insides need to heal too.
4 weeks after surgery i rode a 4 wheeler for the first time. no problems but when i look back that was really stupid lol

keep us posted on progress.

congrats you soon-to-be-blonde bombshell!!!!! glad you're up and about.. take bev's advice: you're still healing so don't be surprised if you get tired quickly. BUT, you can't stay in bed all day.. so be sure to get in a walk or two...

I was admitted monday, surgery was at 7:30 am, I was out of the hospital Wednesday around 1 pm. New procedure on leak test, he has been doing. He used to do them before sending you home from the hospital. some new update he has.... he's the best surgeon around.
