Exclamation Damage control!

Eeep! I lost it this weekend, completely and entirely. It started on Saturday, 8 hours of shopping with the girls. It began at IHOP with pancakes, then continued at TGI Friday's with orange chicken and jasmine rice, went right on through a frozen yogurt sundae at Yonkers, and snowballed all through Saturday -- lasagna, garlic bread, potato casserole, au gratin potatoes, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin cheesecake pie, honey muffins, sugar cookies, brownies, cider, donut holes, crackers and dip.... then today it ended with 3 pieces of pumpkin pie, a 7 layer burrito and rice at Taco Bell, and pizza casserole for supper. I feel AWFUL!!! I'm cringing just wondering how much damage I've done. What should I do??? (Besides get right back OP, of course) Is there anything I can do to minimize the effects of my binging? Or do I just have to wait it out and take 2 weeks to lose what I've probably gained over the weekend? I'm so frustrated right now. Why did I do that, I was doing so good!!!!

Well you can't change the fact that you ate too much..lol I hope it was good. But you can begin right this minute to repair as much of the damage as possible by getting right back to phase one. Hopefully it won't be too much damage.. I doubt it will take two weeks to lose... probably just a day or so.

(((((((((((hugs))))))))))))

I know the feeling, I oinked today to. Just on pizza and sf/ff pudding. Blech. I was just so unmotivated to cook and to stay op. Try not to worry to much about it, just remember how awful you feel right now and if you go to do it again , hopefully it won't happen.

Go back to phase 1 for awhile and it should not take long to get rid of that bloated feeling and to undo any potential damage.

FORGIVE yourself.

Start a Feeling Journal.

This was one weekend. Move on.

We are all going to have "A Day in the Life OF....".

We are not only battling weight, but the reasons why we choose to eat.

Take a personal inventory about your thoughts and emotions over this weekend.

Pat yourself on the back for knowing that you WANT and WILL get back OP.

Hugs to get you through THIS day.

Yesterday is the past, the only thing we can change is today and tomorrow....your not alone. Sounded like you did it right. I try not to weigh for a few days after a weekend like that!!!

Good luck and just move on...oh and of course all of the good input that everyone else said ditto!!!

When I indulge I try to add some extra activity to my workout for the week. For example, I splurged this past Saturday and made the horrible mistake of getting on the scale... I was NOT happy. So, I resolved to add at least 10 extra minutes to my cardio days this week and I will do 1 extra day of strength training. Today was cardio for me, so I did 10 minutes of jogging before my normal routine. This normally helps me get back on track in a reasonable amount of time.

Hope this helps! I know for some strange reason it helps me to read posts like yours and others... I realize that it is OK when I fall OP from time to time. We are only human! The important part is getting back OP ASAP!
