Default what are processed carbs?

my doctor told me to stay away from processed carbs- besides white bread and pasta what are some other processed carbs.

Cake, Candy, Cookies, Pies, junk like that. Anything with white flour, like white pastas and bread, or white sugars are to be avoided. Be careful of the stuff you buy - the ingredients should say Whole in front of the type of grain. If you see whole wheat flour, it is processed. You should see specks of grain in the product. White Rice is to be avoided. After eating the whole grain breads, I don't think I could go back to the other tasteless bites of air again.
