Default venting

Hi
I have been on a weight loss journey/struggle for over 40 years. I am now 60 and need to lose weight and even more need to get healthier.

I am just sad. Sad because I always fail. Sad because I don't like change. Sad because thinking of food and weight loss consumes me.

I just want to be stronger than the challenge.

Reaching out is a great start. There are folks here on 3FC taking steps to follow a food plan and an exercise plan to improve their health and bring their weight under control.

Look around to find a group that fits your style.

Hi, I really feel you on this. It sounds like you’ve been carrying this struggle for a long time, and that’s not easy at all. I can relate a bit because I also find it hard to lose weight, especially since I really enjoy good food and it’s tough to stay disciplined. Lately I’ve just been trying to think more about small daily habits instead of big drastic changes. The other day I came across the bluechew customer service phone number while randomly reading about health-related stuff online, and it kind of made me think more about focusing on basics like drinking more water and maybe adding vitamins instead of overthinking everything. I really hope you start seeing progress soon, even small wins count. Just don’t give up on yourself—you’re already doing something important by talking about it.
