Default How I lost 100lbs with glp1s and protien focus

Been on this whole thing a little over 2 yrs now and lost about 108lbs on GLP1s. 50 on ozempic and 58 on mounjaro (now zepbound).
SW 306, CW 198, goal is like 185ish. Took me around 25 months total, roughly 1lb a week. slow but steady. I’m on 15mg zepbound once a week now.

At first I just stopped eating the crazy high cal stuff like noodles, chips, etc. Still eating most other things, just smaller.
Added more fruit (blackberrys, cherries, pomgrenates) and tried to keep things real food not junk.
Don’t really count calories strict, but I stay mindful. If I skip workout, I eat lighter that day.

Workout wise I lift 2-3x a week and do ellipitcal like 4-5 sessions for 40ish mins. Lifting helps keep muscle, tho progress is slower when low cal.
Thinking when I hit goal I might pause GLP1s and lift heavier while upping food a bit.

Protein’s been the real game changer tbh. I shoot for around 120g a day. Even when I mess up meals, if I hit my protein goal I feel fine and don’t get those insane hunger crashes anymore.
Consistency + protein = magic.

Good luck everyone. stay patient, keep tracking, small daily changes add up fast.

That’s seriously impressive, and thanks for sharing it in such an honest way. I like that you focused on habits and consistency instead of pretending it was easy. Stories like this are motivating because they feel realistic, not hype-driven. You can tell a lot of work and patience went into it. It gives people hope without pressure. Reading it felt encouraging in the same way it does when you finally get through to the Ziply Fiber customer service number and things start moving forward.
