I've been struggling with my weight for over 15 years. Going between actively trying to diet and lose weight, accepting gains and taking an indifferent view on my weight, then repeating the cycle over and over.
Now after an injury (that definitely wasn't helped by by weight) I'm stuck in an orthopedic cast for weeks (months?).
Any advice? Stories to share? Something to help me fight boredom other than the usual lazy and unhealthy things?
Direction in how to use this site? Anything is appreciated, even just a nice message. Thanks
I’m in the same boat—stuck in a cast and trying to find ways to stay weight‑conscious and active even though I can’t move much. Boredom is real, and the usual unhealthy snacks or endless scrolling don’t help. What’s helped a little: doing seated or upper‑body exercises, keeping active in whatever way I can. Also, having gear that fits your situation makes a difference. I recently found a pair of pilates grip socks that seem small, but they make my light home routines feel more legit. Here’s where I found them, if anyone’s interested: https://store.betterme.world/collect...tes-grip-socks
