Default telecommunications

Hey everyone! Let’s talk about telecommunications—everything from mobile networks and internet providers to VoIP services and home phone options. With so many providers out there, it can be tough to figure out which ones actually offer good service.

What’s been your experience with your current provider? Do you get reliable service, or do you deal with frequent outages and slow speeds? Also, how do you handle customer service issues when they arise? Some companies are great, while others seem impossible to reach when you need help.

For those who have switched providers, what made you make the change, and was it worth it? Are there any smaller or lesser-known providers that offer great deals or better service than the big names?

On the tech side, do you prefer traditional phone plans or internet-based options like VoIP? And with 5G rolling out, have you noticed any real improvements in speed or coverage?

Let’s share experiences, advice, and tips on getting the best service without overpaying. Whether you're dealing with slow internet, dropped calls, or searching for the best plan, this is the place to discuss it. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Telecommunications have come a long way, but somehow, we still deal with dropped calls, spotty coverage, and frustrating customer service. It’s crazy how much we rely on staying connected, whether for work, keeping up with friends, or just streaming something on the go. I’m curious—what’s been your biggest issue with phone service providers? Is it pricing, network reliability, or something else? If anyone’s looking for a smoother experience, checking out freedom mobile might be a good move. But I’d love to hear what providers have actually worked well for you—any recommendations?

I did switch from a smaller provider a while back because their network just couldn’t keep up — too many dropped calls and painfully slow internet during peak hours. The jump to Bell improved things, their customer service is amazing, but it definitely came with a higher price tag. As for VoIP, I tried it briefly but still prefer a traditional mobile plan for reliability, especially during power outages or network hiccups. Would love to hear if others have had better luck with internet-based phone services.
