Happy new year and hello January. Wish everyone a great year and healthy goals.

So after what felt like weeks of food and drink but was really only one week the holidays are over. So I jumped on the scale this morning ready to face the music. I only gained 1 kilo or 2.2 pounds which doesn’t seem that bad for 6 days of overeating and a lot of drinks. I also didn’t have time to workout so I’m hoping my muscles are rested and I’ll be off to a good start in January. My goal for this month is to lose 1.5 kilos and I think I can do that because I’m sure some of this gain is just food.

Default Starting today! Happy New Year!

Only 2.2 up for the entire holiday season is definitely a win!

Good Morning, Everyone! Welcome!

I was up .8 in December. I'm down 22.8 pounds from January 1, 2024. I'm down 30 pounds since joining OA on 4/1/24. Obviously I gained between Jan 1 and April 1.

Steps from yesterday: 11,605

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

January 1

1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

As Christians, we believe that God dwells within us. Our bodies become His home, and it makes sense that we should try to make His surroundings as nice as possible. The temple of God in Israel was kept immaculately clean and pure. Only the most clean and holy of men were allowed to enter it. It was revered by all. The temple was the most holy and special place of all. When we are told that our bodies are the temple of God, it is not an option whether or not we will take care of it; it is a duty. When we care for our physical being, we are making God's temple a holy and special place.

Today's thought: We diet not only for ourselves, but for God!

Happy New Year everyone.
I ve been to my nephews for NYE and part of today. Food was not to bad while I was there. However, things went down hill when i got home to the condo. Tomorrow I plan on doing a better job on planning my food
Our area will be under a weather advisory by Sunday-Monday. I dread it. Think I'm already eating my emotions over it now, it's just who I am. Im too much like my grandmother.

Today's my mom's birthday, we had a cake for her in the fridge yesterday.
This morning I found out 2 pieces of the cake were missing, then I realized I ate them last night before bed. Sorry Mom!

Wish you all a happy and healthy new year

Hi Everyone!

I had a higher calorie day due to going to an event. I did 20 minutes on the bike @ the gym

Have a Blessed evening!

Happy New Year everybody. I started off the year with 2 days of headaches. My coworker has the weird Covid with chest pain, nausea and weird bp. She said she went to ER for symptoms and they did cardiac work up on her and found nothing.

Well, her Pastor also went to the ER for same symptoms and he tested positive for Covid, so she tested. It was very light positive though.

I tested negative.. ...

Been stressful and I am starting the year off in the 200s again.

ive made a New Years Resolution of logging food every day even if i don't fast.

Last night i got home and ate veggie straws and boiled peanuts...the boys kept asking me "mom, do you want to do that?"...they tried.

Definitely didn't binge 🙃.

Yang, lol, well I hope your mom had a good birthday and you get to enjoy some cake with her. Love your razzle dazzle message

I agree Sui, 2.2lbs is not bad

Nett, I actually ate my emotions 2 nights ago and told myself what I was doing. I completely understand. Hope you had fun. We are maybe getting a Southern snow storm next week

Ciecie, my other new years resolution is SOME workout every day NO MATTER WHAT.

I took Diana's example and your example.

Peanut61 hope you had a good one
