Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Check-In! Let's make it a great month!
I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
Hi diana and everyone!
I am on a slow weight loss program to reach a goal hopefully mid next year. I’m doing 5 days a week working out and eating a high protein diet but not limiting carbs or fats. I do hope I can lose another kilo by Christmas. Wish everyone good luck for the month
Good morning! Diana, get lots of rest! Church was canceled because of the weather. I’m watching it on tv now. Will have breakfast and do my exercises after its ended. BTW, thanks for getting the December thread started. 😁🤶😷🎅🏻
I am down 5 pounds from November and 30.2 pounds since joining OA on April 1.

Psalms 150:6
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
The battle wasn't won yet, but Henry felt it was close. He looked better, felt better, and had a more positive attitude. Life was so much more fun, now that he was thinner. All the really hard times were behind him, and he felt his future was pretty bright. God had certainly been good to him. Every day, Henry took time out to thank God for all He had done. Henry didn't know what he'd done to deserve such great blessings, but he wasn't going to question it too much. With God's help, he had been able to do what he could never do before: lose weight!
Today's thought: God's helping me be both lighter of body and lighter of spirit!
It was cold this morning but ventured out to go to church. Glad I did. Afterwards went to nephews and had MCDONALD'S for lunch. Bought for the kids and nephews also. Got my therapy with my cat. She's getting so lovable and talkative. Meowing
My nephews brother and his wife have worked things out and he's back home. My niece has not been there in awhile either. I asked my nephew about moving back in. He said it would be okay if the other two proved to be out of the house. My nieces belongings are still there so I don't know. Told him I would stay in Branson until Spring to make sure. I'm itching to clean my nieces bedroom and bathroom. I don't think it has been touched since I left.
Yangzter I understand about those cravings. I wonder sometimes if I have an addiction to sugar.
Suisie I like your plan of action
Diana Hope you are feeling better.
Ciecie Hi
I binged again last night. I’m worried that It’s becoming a habit.
Dianna..be well soon. 30.2 pounds since OA, thats impressive. What do you think makes the difference?
Ciecie..Happy walking.
Suisei..Welcome! Isn’t it summer down under? Do you workout outdoors mostly?
Nettnett/Jendiet..How are you doing?
Thank you I’m happy to be here. Was looking for a place to get some continued support after the Fitbit chats were closed. It is summer here was 30 degree Celsius for me today. I work out indoors but try to get all that done in the early mornings in the summer! Sorry to read about your binging it’s something I’ve struggled a lot with. I find if I reduce my calories too low or don’t eat enough protein I’ll binge.
What ever the name of this respiratory thing is, it's the worse thing that I have ever had. I don't wish it on anyone.
Yangtzer I think they teach you better ways to deal with people, stressors, and situations. My solution has always been to stuff it down with food. That doesn't solve anything, only makes everything worse.

Philippians 3:14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
When he was young. Luke always came in last. He was never more than an average student; he had never succeeded much in anything he had done. That all changed when he decided to lose weight. He realized that much of his problem was a lousy self-image. He knew he could succeed, even if no one else believed it. He would prove it to himself, if nothing else. His pastor had given a sermon called, 'Be everything you can be,' and Luke was going to give it a shot. God didn't create losers. With God's help, Luke knew he could win. Nothing would stop him now. At long last, Luke was on the road to victory.
Today's thought: I will try to keep my sight on what I want to be soon!
I joined an OA meeting online last night. It was boring, just reading books on the screen
Dianna..thank you for the insight. I always eat my stress away too. It makes things worse. Maybe I should try another OA meeting?
You must have been in a literature meeting. or a Big Book meeting. The meetings could be considered boring. It's nothing really exciting. I like the step meetings. Working the steps is where you make progress. Step meetings help you to understand the steps.
