Default Need suggestion on How to Stay Motivated on My Weight Loss Journey?

Hello 3 Fat Chicks Community!

I've been on my weight loss journey for a while now, and while I've made progress, I'm finding it increasingly challenging to stay motivated. It's like I hit a plateau, and the scale just won't budge!

I've tried various diets and exercise routines, but I often find myself slipping back into old habits or losing motivation altogether. I know consistency is key, but some days it just feels impossible to muster up the energy to stick to my plan.

I would love to hear from others who have experienced similar struggles. How do you stay motivated when the going gets tough?

Thank you!

miasmith,

Congrats for the progress that you've made to date on your plan. I'm one of those who do well with getting support from others who are on a similar journey.

Look around 3FC; hope you find a group that provides the support that you need.

Seeing the results is the best motivation for me. For example erecntly have tried a new calisthenics workout on lower back https://betterme.world/articles/lowe...-calisthenics/ and the results were not long in coming. Already in 2 weeks, I saw how my chronic back pain went away, my muscles got stronger and I even started walking with a straight back, so it's worth a try

Let me know if you find a good way. I tried running because I heard that exercise helps with motivation. But I got tired of it very quickly. Now I'm trying to walk at least 8 to 10 thousand steps a day.

Good job! You have made the first step towards weight loss, which is commitment. One key to lose weight effectively is to be committed mentally. It doesn't matter if you are motivated or not, motivation is a mandatory thing. It is important that you REALLY want to lose weight.
