January 2023 - Daily Accountability/Lifestyle Change - Everyone Welcome!
Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Check-In! Let's make it a great month!
I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
Sunday
w/o: 4 miles elliptical, 5 mile run
weight: 106.2lbs
I'm a bit disappointed with the weight. I cut out the valerian root, the vitamin D, and the Spring Valley probiotic. I will continue taking the pearl probiotic. I plan to stick with this routine for a few days to see if this helps. If not, I plan to go back to my old amazon probiotic.
1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
As Christians, we believe that God dwells within us. Our bodies become His home, and it makes sense that we should try to make His surroundings as nice as possible. The temple of God in Israel was kept immaculately clean and pure. Only the most clean and holy of men were allowed to enter it. It was revered by all. The temple was the most holy and special place of all. When we are told that our bodies are the temple of God, it is not an option whether or not we will take care of it; it is a duty. When we care for our physical being, we are making God's temple a holy and special place.
Today's thought: We diet not only for ourselves, but for God!
Happy New Year!!!🌼🌈🏝️💃
Wishing everyone a good start for the New Year and on all your efforts.
Diana- your biblical posting today was a good reminder to me. Thanks.
Girl81-hope you feel better soon.
Nancy- good luck on finding your next home.
Yangtzer-hope you beat that COVID out of your body.
Teri- hang in there. You can beat the sweet attacks.
Now to start my weekly weight challenge. I am trying for at least 1 lb a week. Two would be better, but I don’t want to be upset if I don’t make it. One pound is definitely doable, and there should be no (None at all) excuses. I am going to weigh-in on Sundays. Any one else want to join me and who feels committed to making this happen? 2023 is the year! You can do it, will you? 😃
This year I am not making hard and fast goals, more like guidelines to follow
example, weigh in at least once a week (not a problem I weigh nearly daily)
Limit my evening snacks, plan them out-set them next to me, if I want them they are there if not oh well. But not to go back looking for more. Gone is Gone. Get my workouts in.
Starting another 12 week series, I am still debating between two. One is 4 days but complicated to follow, the other is 5 days a week and easy to follow hard on lifting.....well both are hard on lifting but that is what I want.
Ok going to scoot can't wait to see how this year plays out
