February 2022 - Daily Accountability/Lifestyle Change - Everyone Welcome!
Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Check-In! Let's make it a great month!
I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
Today will be a busy one. I am working on a new accounting/church program at church that is proving to be very difficult. I will be working on that again this morning. This afternoon I am taking our dog Cody for his yearly stuff. We are going to a new vet, so that should be interesting. Then this evening is our Ladies meeting at church. I have no idea where to fit in a workout but I will at least try to get my steps in. If I see an opportunity to to walk somewhere along the line I will.
Steps from yesterday: 5,007
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
'I can't win,' the woman lamented. 'I give in and eat something, and then I feel guilty. When I feel guilty, I eat. The more I eat, the guiltier I feel, and the guiltier I feel, the more I eat!' Sometimes we feel like failures when we break our diets. We can be swept up in a sense of guilt that makes it nearly impossible for us to stick to our diet. The solution to guilt is forgiveness, and forgiveness comes to us through our advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous. Jesus knows that we sometimes give in, and He loves us just the same. Accept His love, accept His forgiveness, and let go of any guilt you may feel.
Today's thought: I am not condemned just because I sometimes slip!
Rachel and DH and other word game lovers: I just played a new game called WORDLE. It is a lot of fun. It is free right now...but it was just bought by the NY Times, so who knows how long it will be free...
Well DH is still isolating in the basement. I'm off work for 5 days as I have to monitor my symptoms.
We're expecting a huge snow storm tomorrow and its supposed to last until Friday! Total accumulation is 30-40 cm! Yikes.
I'm going to go out and run some errands as I do not want to be driving in that storm. Then I have to bake some cookies. I've been putting it off as I'm working on organizing my bedroom (since DH is in the basement) but I HAVE to bake today... and then decorate.
Weight: slightly down today to 166.8lbs. I'll take it as I'm still in a world where I'm only eating comfort food! lol
Diana: Thanks for starting a new thread. I hope you can get all that accounting done and have fun at your meeting tonight. It's ok if you can't get all your exercise in... sometimes it's good to step away and give yourself a break (I feel). Mind you, I don't exercise. lol
Teri: I love WORDLE! I've been playing it since the new year and, I must say, I'm pretty good at it! I haven't done it today yet. Have you?
Good afternoon! Took the bus to a nearby community to power walk and run errands there. Ran into some friends. Congratulated one friend on his recent retirement from the sheriff’s department. My meeting tonight is canceled because some of the members are sick. 😁❤️😷🎊🎉🍾☃️
