Post Weight Loss Support

TIPS ABOUT SNACKS We all snack. But some snacks are better than others, especially if you’re managing type 2 diabetes or obesity.

An ideal snack gives you protein or fiber -- or both -- to help you feel full, says Gillian Culbertson, RD, certified diabetes educator at the Cleveland Clinic.

It should give you plenty of energy without too many calories. Aim for between 100 and 150 calories for women, and about 200 calories for men, with 15 to 20 grams of protein

Protein has to do with your weight and age.

For example, I need to take 52 grams of protein per day.

No one is the same. Everyone can react differently to calorie needs.
Of course you have to take the right products.

A few years ago I lost more than 10 kilos myself with the help of a personal trainer who pays a lot of attention to my nutrition

It is recommended that you engage in some sort of aerobic activity at least three times a week for a minimum of 20 minutes per session to gain the health advantages of exercise. If you want to reduce weight, though, you should exercise for more than 20 minutes. Daily moderate exercise of 15 minutes — such as walking one mile — can burn up to 100 calories (provided you don't eat too many calories afterward). Over the course of a year, burning 700 calories per week can result in a weight loss of 10 pounds.
