Talking Howdy

Ever been in one of those moods where you have no clue why you are so happy??? Well I am having one of those days! Woke up this mornin and did my 40 minute video. When I came to work I went for a 55 minute walk and it was pretty fast-paced because my leg muscles were burnin! Then for lunch I grabbed my purse and went for another long walk....an hour! Hmmm wonder why this is. I sure hope I can keep this pace!

I also can't wait to get my pedometer I ordered so I can actually see how far I've walked!

Oh yes before I forget...I've lost 7 lbs total so far. Maybe that's why I'm so happy

No wonder you are so happy. You lost that weight. I would be happy too. But you have been really exercising and that helps I am sure. Keep up the good work!!!!

You are certainly reaping the rewards of an active lifestyle! I know when I get my workouts in I am just on cloud nine!
Too bad we can't bottle the feeling, huh? We'd make a fortune!

Default SBD

The South Beach Diet was great for 2 weeks, now I find myself eating 60 pistachios instead of 30. I will never buy them again. Has anyone been losing weight after the 3rd week? I lost 5 pounds and haven't budged since.

pringles...why the name? was just wondering about that....i had the same problem with the pistachios...its better if you actually count out 30 and put them in a bowl and then put the rest of the bag away...that helped for me...just a thought...hello to everyone else...this hurricane is a dewsy for us here...hopefully we wont flood!!

Pringles, I don't think it is uncommon for weight loss to stall or even stop as you transition from phase 1 to phase 2. I know it did for me! I think the secret is to stick with it, put the scale away so you don't get discouraged, focus on all the healthy things you are doing for yourself. Oh, and check and double check what you are eating, if you are drinking enough water, and if if you getting some exercise! Give that a try for a week and see what happens.
