Unhappy Losing Weight & Worrying about Calories

Hi all,

I was actually an alcohol addict but I've been sober since 3 years and 5 months. However, I found a new addiction in food, mainly sugars and refined carbs of course!

Anyhows, I have been binging/purging alot, infact for years, but now the weights really upsetting me. Can't cope with how I live.

So, going to get accountable, keep posting my progress and lose this excess 20lbs I'm carrying around. Can't seem to get past 3 days ... And then I binge, maybe support of group etc will get me to a week. .. or two!!!

Hi amygates congratulations on your decision to turn around the binge/purge. there is a book that some people at 3fc told me about. It's called Brain over binge. It's written by a woman who found a way back to healthy eating. You may like to read it. There are some powerful insights in the book.

I find that the best way to find community here is to join in on an existing thread. But please let me be the first to welcome you. I will check back to see how you are doing.
