My hubby was given this for what they think is an inner ear infection...... he had been on Z pack a few weeks ago but it came back on strong and I guess they figure this is the stronger way to fight it..... now i have concerns since all the negative press this medication has been getting lately. I know i have take it before without any known bad side effects (not many times though) and he has taken it before also... although not often.
Anyone here taken this much and did you have bad side effects??? Its scary to read about but he is only on it for 7 days at 1 500mg every 12 hours.... still scares me. As I have gotten older EVERYTHING seems to scare me.
