October was a great month for me but my loss slowed down a lot towards the end of the month. I'm really hoping to get to 195 before November 25th which is my grandparent's 60th anniversary party. I think I can get there if I continue to eat within my calorie range and don't completely pig out on Thanksgiving. I think I also need to start adding in some cardio everyday to boost my weight loss. I think I'll try to get to 10,000 steps on my FitBit each day (currently average 3k a day) and maybe do an exercise DVD 3 times per week.

- Ate Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Mom didn't want to cook so we went out to a sit-down restaurant and I had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, coleslaw, dinner roll and a slice of pumpkin pie w/ whipped cream. I didn't eat anything else all day and I doubled my steps in order to stay under my calorie limit. Hoping to see a big loss on Monday - although TOM is right around the corner which might screw that up.

I just don't get it. I'm staying under my calories, getting plenty of water & sleep, getting my steps in and I haven't eaten anything salty. I worked my butt off last week only to gain a pound and now I'm still gaining despite doing everything right. I think I'm going to stop weighing in - at all - for a month. In December, I think I'm going to stick to my calorie limit, drink plenty of water, get my steps in every day and then weigh myself in January to see how much I lost - if anything.
