What a beautiful morning it is here, I went for a walk outside this morning. Today is work from home I have lots of meetings and reports to work on.
Beth- we will be in Florida for 11 days, going for a conference for the first 4 days then hoping on a cruise for 4 days and then going down to Disney World to finish up our passes. Should be fun and a nice getaway from work.
Hello! Still on Denver due to flight delays. I rebooked now that flight is delayed. Don’t know when I will get out. Glad I just have a carry on. Will update lol
I just saw some disturbing news on Facebook from Cottage:
"Feeling sad. I will miss a dear friend who I shared lots of crazy adventures with and had a generous heart of gold. You touched many lives and will be missed by many, dear Ruthie."
Linda told me she passed away on Saturday after a short illness. Ruth will be missed greatly, I am so glad she found Bruce and was leading such a wonderful life.
So sad to hear of Ruth passing. I’m so glad she had found a new life with Bruce and hope her suffering was short. Prayers for Bruce, her family and the community of Delta which she loved so much she will be missed by many.
I'm so sorry to hear that Ruth has died. Such a wonderful person, full of fun and enthusiasm. We had some great PM exchanges. A great loss to all the communities she was part of and the individuals she met.
Having a very nice week with my brother. Too much food. We go out for breakfast every morning because now that he can’t drive he really enjoys going down to his favorite local spot. No smoothie so I pick sensible....2 egg breakfast, veggie sausage and dry rye instead of the “homemade fried chicken hash “ lol

Debbie, glad you can spend the time with your brother. Eating OP is SO hard when you are traveling. I am sure you will do the best you can and get back on track when you are home.

This is our last week of classes but then there are almost 2 weeks of exams. It's nice to have the end of the year in sight!
Food is okay; I need to stay away from the sweets though.
greetings Beachy friends. I popped in when I saw the news a couple of days ago. Ruth was one of a kind, such a wonderful, funny, smart, sassy, caring person. I feel lucky to have joined when she was here. I am sorry I never made that trip north we always talked about.
I miss this group and the day to day support I found here. Glad to see a few familiar faces still holding the fort down.
Thanks for stopping by Cyndi we miss hearing from you and others as well. I feel lucky as well to have known Ruth and one of the reason I continued to stay on this forum. I will continue to post because even though our numbers are small just stopping by makes me remember to be accountable for my choices for the day.
