Default Desperate need of support

I am starting another diet tomorrow. I have lost weight on WW before but this time I'm going at it solo. I've started new diets every month for the last million months/weeks. I'm out of control, this time I really need to do it. My best friends and co-workers have great genes, aka eat at least 2 donuts a day and fried food the other two meals. I think I've gained weight just looking at their food! Tomorrow I start again. I have to be successful this time, my life depends on it.

Barring health conditions I don't know about you, it is absolutely possible for you to lose weight right now. The catch is that it will take work and a lot of consistency (the latter can be a big struggle - I know it can be for me). It will also likely take a lot of time depending on how much weight you have to lose, how old you are, how tall you are, etc.

Tell us what plan you want to do to lose weight. Giving us your stats (height, weight, age, approximate weight loss goal, etc.) will help as well.

I encourage you to dig around the site a bit. There are a lot of inspirational success stories of both people who still use the site and people who have moved on from it. The older threads have a lot of good information in them, and there are new active threads that can help offer support.

I also encourage you to look at what 'success' means for you. Weight loss can be slow (this is normal), and may not go smoothly all the time (this is common), but it's definitely possible for most people.

Why did you give up on the other diets? Were they hard to follow? Or did you follow them but not get results?

Which diet are you doing this time?

Hi you can do it It is about constancy find something you can follow long term that does include exercise even it is just walking to began with and build up. What most peoples reason for failing is failing to plan. Plan out in writing what you want to achive, you may not always get to your goal weights on time but as long as you are moving in the right direction its a win.

Try to stay focussed and strong.

The hard part is starting out, but once you get going, you will find a new way to manage eating and hopefully you will develop healthy habits.

I am new here too, so hang in there and check back in, from time to time.
