Question phase 2 questions

Why does the book say it's best not to eat fruit for breakfast, yet every phase 2 meal plan has fruit in the breakfast meal?

I know to start reintroducing foods slowly as I enter phase 2. How slowly? Would it be too much to have a bowl of Uncle Sam's for breakfast, yogurt (Yoplait diet kind) for snack, and a piece of fruit with dinner? Is that too much too soon?

Yeah, I couldn't figure that out, either, Susan.
I just added one piece of fruit per day. (afraid of overdoing it) And I ate it whenever I felt like it. Often porridge with walnuts, cinnamon, and raisins or dried apricots.

Well, Dr. A just wrote the text. Some scrawny dietician did the menu plans. Just be careful of the fruit and other carbs. I fully intend to have fruit for breakfast some mornings on Phase 2. Today I am having an apple for a snack but will have grapefruit tomorrow in the morning.
