Default Not weighing myself for 7 weeks?

I want to just work really hard and not weigh myself until my doctors appointment 7 weeks from now? Is that a good/bad idea?

I got off track Thanksgiving-Christmas and gained 9 pounds. I’m assuming half of it was in water weight.

I’ve been working really hard for over a week, and my old pants fit again and my winter jacket is much looser then when I got it.

I have not weighed myself since last Wednesday when I was 165.

Is this a good idea to just try really hard with my eating and not weigh myself for over 7 weeks?

Nothing bad will happen?

If you know you're making progress, then you don't really need to weigh yourself. If your clothes are getting looser then you're making progress. If you're not sure, then I think weighing yourself once a week would be a good idea. Personally I weigh myself about once a month.
