Default Good day

Good morning everyone,

I am new to the forum and have found this to be a wonderful place for motivation and support so far. Finally decided to introduce myself and join in to help others.
I never took my weight loss seriously and kept blaming it on my PCOS. Truth is the PCOS just makes the weight come off a bit slower but it doesn't stop me from being healthy.

This morning I weighed in at 179.8lb. first time I have been below 180 in over 6 years. My 12 year old daughter is voicing concerns about how I am losing weight and worries that I will harm myself by doing CICO. My ex told her that was a dangerous way to lose weight. I find myself eating more often but much smaller portions and healthier foods so I don't really see the down sides.

My control issues come at night. I can't seem to stop snacking at night. The kids go to bed and I start to munch. Its fruit and veg but still. Any hints to help cut that habit down?

Thanks
Sadenla

Greetings, Sadenla. I New also close to one week. I haven't had much progress this week. But I will keep trying. I don't have advice on the snacking. The good thing is like you mentioned it's fruit and veggies. Have you done a calorie count of your night snacking?

Welcome! I don't know if I'd stress out about eating fruits and vegetables that much, but then I have a body that likes eating late at night and I know some bodies don't. :/ I'd do a calorie count too and then see how you fare. If you're eating something like carrots and hummus you're probably only looking at <50 calories and that's a pretty small, healthy snack.
