I'm not sure what your question is. Your body is burning calories all the time no matter what you're doing. If you are just sitting in a chair you are burning calories. If you happen to be driving while sitting, you would burn more calories by moving your arms and legs to operate the vehicle, but I wouldn't think it would be a lot more, like it would be if you were running for that period of time. If you were driving for 8 hours without eating anything, of course you would be hungry and that would justify eating...even Chick Fila, as long as you didn't overeat.
