Default Struggling Today

I don't know why, but I am struggling so much so far today...

I haven't eaten out of the ordinary, but I've already eaten my snacks for the afternoon and I still have 3.5 hrs to go here at work -

I need some real help and motivation - my water is just not tasting all that great

good news is I only have 80 cents - can't get anything too bad at the vending machine in case I cave it, but i've had a couple of bad days (those darn pistachios) and so want to get back on track

Lucky, sometimes the only way to get through a tough spot is to, well, get THROUGH it! I know that is little comfort right now when you are struggling, but if you stay on track now you will only feel great later on. Maybe treat yourself to a diet soda with your 80 cents? That might hold off the cravings for a while. And if you need an extra snack tonight then have one, but make sure it is on plan. Tonight you can add some lemon to your water to make it more palatable, but for now you might just have to 'suck it up'! Good luck, and let us know how you fare. We ALL know exactly how you feel!

I know what you mean, but it does get easier. Today I said no thank you to a apple cinnamon scone.

Wish I had said no thank you to the extra 1300 calories and 100 carbs that I put in my mouth today. Didn't make me feel any better to be honest at fitday either. It has been a dark, dreary day. home all alone and did nothing. Can you tell that I am having a case of the Poor Me's. Yuch, can't stand myself when I get this way. Sorry to inflict me on the rest of you. Julie

There are so many days at work when around 2:30 planned food and snacks are gone and i am DYING for something to shove in my mouth ... I used to keep a jar of reduced fat peanut butter in my desk until one day I ate about half of it like it was pudding!!!

I try to keep sugar free hard candy around ... gives me something to put in my mouth and it can't be eaten fast ....

Sometimes you have to falter before you can succeed.

Let it go and move on to tomorrow.

But I think you know what you have to do otherwise you wouldn't have come here to post.

Go for a bathroom break, splash some water on your face and tell yourself while looking in the mirror I really don't choose to eat till I go home. Then smile at yourself and go back to work.
