Default 'Creaky knees, hips and ankles'

All self inflicted I must add. Overweight since having my baby in 1978 and have gradually gained since then. Tried all diets, lost put the weight back on etc. My doctor sent me to Slimming World and gave me a medical prescription for a 12 week course. That was last December and I was over 18 stones. I'm now 15.4 and have started to move more easily. I walk every day . Sometimes the joints aren't so good so I don't walk so far. But I'm getting there.

Me too on the knees, hips and ankles!

I'm lucky, in that I'm now 62, and the aches have only been seriously coming on for about a year. I've been dieting for 45 years, and have had a couple of seriously good weight losses in that time, but mostly I've been overweight at the very least.
In this current phase I've lost 65lbs, got 35lbs still to go.

Well done on your loss so far! I have to assume that the lighter we get, the less the joints will ache? Hope so, anyway.
