I'm not ecstatic about my recent Hashimoto's diagnosis. And my insulin resistance test indicated that I have that as well. And I'd rather not have either problem, but it is good to know that my previous attempts at weight loss didn't fail solely because I got annoyed and gave up.
I have been on thyroid medication for 2 months. It was just increased because I hadn't improved a whole lot, but I feel so much better. My workouts are more intense because I don't feel bogged down all the time. I also started Wellbutrin about a month ago and that really helped me with the intense cravings I get whenever I am eating foods and I had a very successful month. I just got to the weight where I usually have a plateau that's hard to break but I'm confident that even if my weight loss stalls I have the support and resources I need to overcome that obstacle this time.
