Hello all! I just found this forum and I love the name. Some forums sound a bit intimidating for a 60 year old who's really working on getting fit again, but this just sounds like a comfortable place to talk about my journey, struggles and successes.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Beth

Hi Tropicalgal, and welcome! I'm 60 also, and although losing weight at 60 is more challenging, it's still very possible!

Feel free to check out the "Spring Challenge, Rebirth" thread, which will soon become the "Memorial Day Challenge" thread I believe. What kind of weight loss plan are you considering?

I'm not really using a weight loss plan so to speak. I am working on moving more and eating healthier - really making these lifestyle changes now. It's slow but steady. I've taken up walking during my afternoon break at work and doing some exercises at home with weights. I was diagnosed as diabetic a short while ago, so getting that under control is important.
