Default Back again newb and she needs your help!

Hi everyone
I am back again for the 3rd time and have found that this time, it is in guidance more than tracking. My 1st time on here I had just had a baby and was in full motivation mode. Lost 50 lbs and felt great! Then I got a full time job, daughter was growing and life happened basically. Unfortunately over time I gained all of that weight back and am at square 1 again. Came back on here maybe 2 years ago looking to get back on it and fell off the wagon because I just didn't have the energy to keep up. Now, I am wanting to get back on it again but seriously have ZERO motivation/energy. My daughter is now almost 5 and I just am so just blah about it all, you know? Any guidance anyone can give would be very much appreciated! Can't wait to meet everyone

Welcome back (though I guess you have a new account name). I wish I knew what makes the discipline turn on sometimes. I have struggled with a partial regain myself for a couple of years. I have managed to stick to my plan since January 1 but only after dozens of times saying "okay I'm going to get back on plan now" and then not doing it at all. If I could bottle up what has been different since Jan 1 and share it around to everyone on this board, I surely would.

Maybe you could start by picking one thing to change, instead of trying to do everything at once. Look at what was different in your behaviors during the time you lost 50lbs compared to now, and pick one of those behaviors to focus on for a week or two. Then you can add another, and another, and perhaps you can build up the discipline muscle over time just like you'd build up any other skill or strength.

I couldn't remember my login darn it lol. I view this as a fresh start I guess. Thanks for your response! I do appreciate it and will try starting to workout on weekends and go from there. Ready for spring time so I can get out more with my daughter and do more active things.
