I think the most important thing is to make sure that you chose a sustainable weight loss plan. If you have the tendency to stress eat, boredom eat or anything else, then you need to maybe start seeing it as a healthy change in lifestyle. Do you work out? do you live with people? are you easily swayed by the bad food choices of other people?
One of the first steps is working out where you go wrong? I know that I was a boredom eater, I also knew that I would eat more what my family would want, which was always an unhealthy choice.

I don't ever feel stressed about the food I eat.... because I remind myself every day that each day is a learning day. I read a book called Mindset and muscle which is great. Once you can clear your mind of all the unnecessary stresses, then eating right becomes so much easier. If I eat something I should of.... then I wake up the next day and try and work off what I ate to prevent it impacting my weekly loss. Its about having a cheat meal and not letting it turn into a cheat weekend or a cheat week.
