Default A new beginning

I have been here many times since joining in 2008 but every time, I seem to lose my motivation. I am once again committing to myself and hopefully for good.
I spend more time reading everyone else's posts than actually posting myself so I will be lurking around and getting motivation from all of you. My total goal is to lose about 125 pounds. I have struggled my whole life to be a healthy weight and I am attempting to finally clear everything out of my head and focus on myself. These next few weeks will be the hardest and I hope that I am strong enough to push through.

I think you should take the next week to prepare for your final weight loss journey. It only truly works if you are committed to finally getting rid of it all, clearing your head out is always a great start. Then make a realistic goal to start yourself off, I aimed for 1lb a week, so that in a year from now I would be 52lbs down. It was for me a pretty realistic goal, I am only slightly under it, but I have done this first year on diet alone.

I had 155lbs to lose and I am 1/3 of the way through, so if you need a buddy, then ill be around

Hi,
I would like to join in.
I am working on losing 80 pounds but 100 would put me right where I need to be for my BMI.
Anybody interested in buddying up for accountability?
I am starting tomorrow. N reason to wait until the 1st.

Thanks Scotsgal, I actually have organized a plan over the last week and am starting to pick up momentum. Futurehealthyme, I am definitely up for a buddy. I do tend to get off track and get distracted. Let me tell you what my plan and goals look like.
Plan
No soda
Drink lots of water
Drink my coffee black
Gym three days a week first month (then work up to 5 days)
Decrease salt (or at least stop adding it lol)
More fresh whole food choices
Less carbs
NO binge eating

Goals
My over all goal is to lose 130 pounds (huge goal I know)
Lose 100 pounds in 2017
Lose 40 pounds by May (my best friend's graduation)
Lose 10 Pounds each month (this is basically my focus point)
My end of January goal is 253 (today as official start and I was 263 yesterday)

I went to the gym this morning for the first time, and joined (Planet Fitness).
It was actually pretty awesome. Going back tomorrow morning as well.
I went to the grocery and bought lost of healthy food options after the gym.
I have a schedule set up for the next two months, I am working on a food plan. I started up my 3FC blog again and plan to post weekly.
I am determined this time and truly focused on me for once. Good luck ladies.

I think you have seriously set yourself up for success already, you have clear goals and clear plans. Schedules are the best!!! Cut yourself some slack if things get tough, life is hard. Just always keep one finger on the end goal and you are going to reach it one day, you are.
