Hello everyone,
I'm a 42 year old mom of 3. I completed a diet program recently and lost 18 pounds, only to get 8 back in 2 months! I am disappointed, but I just found out about this site, and it has a support group, which was what I was looking for.
I am currently 137.8 pounds, 5'4 1/2. I don't have a problem with exercise. I like to play tennis, run and lift weights. But I have a problem with the diet part. Sweets is my weakness. I have a job where I sit all day, and I know it's bad for me.
I was planning to start in 2 weeks, since my sister will be here next week, but hey, why not start today, I asked myself!
I am in good shape, but I when I sit down I have a little belly and that bothers me a lot. My goal is to get to 125 pounds. So I would like to lose 12 pounds in 12 weeks! Let's do this! I am starting today and posting pictures tomorrow.
My diet plan is to have 6 small meals a day, mostly protein based, and I get my carbs from fruits and veggies. And run about 4 miles a day, 6 times a week, lift 3 to 4 times a week, and play tennis 5 times a week.
