Introduction!
Hi everyone,
I've been bouncing around in this forum for the past month so I thought I'd introduce myself. As you can see, I've been on 3FC for a looooooong time. I think 2004? So 12 years! Over the last 12 years I've struggled with my weight. It's a constant battle with me. Recently I discovered I have renal failure and my kidney doctor is very adamant about me losing weight. In the past two months, I've been doing tons of research, reading forums, watching youtube videos of people's journeys, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have the gastric sleeve.
At first I was really scared about major surgery but it's at a point in my life where I need to lose weight because my overall health depends on it.
Right now I'm at 290, I'm 5'5.
My first appointment is on October 18th and I'm excited and nervous. Nice to meet you all!
p.s. I have Aetna insurance. PPO 80/20 plan and I've been pre-qualified based on my stats.
