Good morning. My world is now all washed and you can hear the plants sighing in relief. We still need more rain to get out of drought conditions but it's a great improvement. We are going to have a few days of super hot but things should normalize by the weekend.
Despite the deluge, we were busy at the Mill all weekend!

I did get some work done on the Fair schoolwork and am planning to go over to the Hall later the day to "ribbon" the winners. (Did you know that 1st place is a
red ribbon here in Canada and
blue in the USA?) The non-winners also get a ribbon just for participation - purple this year. I also have to get to the bank to deposit the weekend cash - the new treasurer still does not have signing authority until the bank calls us in for signature changes.
Been getting caught up with odds and sods by doing yellow stickies for quickie jobs like watering house plants, some ironing and ADL - activities of daily living. Today's jobs include meal planning since it's been grab, gobble and go lately and the scale is showing it. I have two weddings in the fall and want to be a size smaller before I shop for an outfit.
Debbie, such a busy bee! You certainly will have a good stash of raspberries for winter smoothies! I will get some from The Farm to freeze later this week. In the meantime, there are black-caps along my fencelines that will be coming on strong after the rain. (These are wild brambles that are small but packed with flavour!)
Time to crank up the day although the dogs have gone back to bed, They sure love that new round bed.
Marvy Monday, EveryChick!
