Well, summer seems to have retreated. I swear I saw my breathe in the cold air when I let out the furries at 5. The weatherliar says we are in for a "few days of below normal temperatures."

I am off to the Clinic for 8:30 and really have no idea what the rest of the day will bring. Jazz and I do pet therapy this afternoon but the Clinic Board has laid on an Open House on for the local Day Away programme since we are getting fewer and fewer clients. (People die, get better, decide it's not for them, etc.) Anyhow Jazz and I will be there for the afternoon. We'll see what happens.

Time to get it together for the day. It's back to warmer clothes today - good thing I didn't stash them all away a week ago when we were in the 90's!

Good morning, Ruth! I am also wearing longer sleeves today and being glad my sweaters aren't yet washed and packed away. I'm well aware the weather is fickle here, but really??? 50*?? Almost too cold for iced coffee!

Last regular hump day of this school year. We have school next week but it is state exam time for high schoolers.

Have a good time at therapy. That seems like such a valuable service; I was recently reading a book about a doctor overhauling the operation of a nursing home and bringing in plants and animals was one of the key things. It really made a difference for the residents.

Good morning Chicks! Last day of school for me. I am happy to have some time off and stressed about the financial side of it. Guess I'll see how it goes. At least I'll have more time to stop in now

Cricket and I are loving some cooler weather. Too bad my turnips and radishes are already bolting. Happy Hump Day!

Good morning it was wonderful sleeping with the windows open last night. I'm not complaining about the temperature today as we have to wear our dress uniforms today. They are wool. Today our new canine training facility is having their official grand opening. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person. Lucky for me it is only a half an hour from my home. Finally a short commute lol. Better start getting ready.

Good morning!

I'm sitting on the porch enjoying coffee and it is a bit nippy. After hearing that you have cold weather back east I decided to check the temps here. It's 52° only 5:30 AM and is supposed to be 70 degrees by nine. We got a big rain last night so I'm heading out to the weed patch. All the trees are in full bloom right now so the mornings are especially lovely. I can smell my mountain ash starting to flower. Enjoy your day everyone! I plan to.

It is a gorgeous day here but we will be in the mid 80s here.
