Default Merry May 2 Monday

Relatively "merry" that is! I stripped beds this a.m and the washer is sloshing away. I had hoped to hang the sheets out on the line but the rain has put the kibosh on that! I guess the Town Hall tablecloths will spend the day on the diningroom table unless it clears up this afternoon.

Off for coffee with the UC ladies and then to quilting biddies for 9. I hope to be outta there by noon as I have to take some papers to the bank. We do a presentation to Township Council tonight about the plans to revitalize our historic Church - that it goes well.

Just spotted a spider that eluded me yesterday and sent him to spider heaven. I hope that doesn't mean that the rain will continue for 40 days!

Good morning,

It is also raining here, I am off to work this a.m. , have a couple of interviews to do, still haven't found the right candidate for the one position, of course now we have another as well, maybe I will have transitioned to new position before I have to do interviews for that one
Nothing on the agenda this evening.

Ruth hope the meeting this evening goes well.

Have a great day everyone!

Goodmorning I need another weekend day! I still have lots of things left on my To Do list. Darn. Ah well, on to another work week. It is rainy and gray here, and everything is popping green. We might be mowing soon

Ruth - Good luck tonight

Rose - I've been on the looking side of interviews recently. It just isn't fun from either side. Hope you find the candidate soon.

Not much going on around here this week. I am laser focused on the garden and a little birding. Tonight will be repotting plants, sprouting more seeds, and planning more beds. DH built a lovely 2 x 20 bed for squash and found a heavy old wooden ladder at a local junk shop. Now we need to plan a trellis set-up. Should be interesting.

Time to head out into the world.

Good morning everyone. Boy do I wish I could retire. All this garden talk makes me want to have a nice big garden one day. We are very wet and green here too. Nothing on the agenda other then household chores and errands.

Ruth what are the plane for the church? Good luck tonight.

Pearlrose interviews make me nervous. Keeping my fingers crossed this is the last one you have to do.

Cyndi is the trellis ladder for the squash?

Spent the afternoon and evening with Joe. We went to an absolutely wonderful Italian restaurant last night. I will not discuss my food porn. But with all the good choices I've been making and working out, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Today inwill try and undue some of the damage lol.

Hope everyone has a Merry Monday!

Hey chicks, just stopping by...I also had a rainy Monday and was very busy with a staff meeting after school, a quick grocery stop (how did I go to 2 stores this weekend and still not have enough lettuce???), then my workout, dinner, clean up....I know everyone here is too familiar with the scenario so I won't whine.

Jennifer, my food was off the rails this weekend so I am also trying to drink lots of water and be OP for the next few days.

Cyndi, I have tried to trellis my cukes the last 2 summers but I think the lattice is too wide; the vines don't seem to be able to get hold.

Ruth and Pearlrose, hope you had a good day.

I am hoping the sun comes out tomorrow. Really gross out there tonight.
