Good Morning!

I'm up. Had a great night of rest and I'm ready to face the day.....almost. Coffee is just finishing up downstairs.

Work was super busy again. My pocketbook is happy. I think the nice weather has the non skiers out and about. Several folks I asked said it was just a nice day to drive to the mountains. It looks like we have spectacular weather all week.

I'm going to wander down and find that coffee then spend some time putting things in place. I have a bunch of coffee and misc. stuff to go to the basement right off. Then pay bills. It's that time again.

Pearlrose, when Kirk went over Thurs. early they had one lane of traffic in both directions assisted by pilot cars to maintain a certain speed. To my knowledge that is still the case. I'm not going to go over this week. Next week will brave it as my sis and I are going to Moab for a biking event.

Good morning and welcome to an "extra" day in your life. Too bad it has to be a Monday!

The dogs were very glad to see me this morning after NOT sleeping in my bed last night. Angus actually did submissive pee which annoyed me but also means I am the goddess of his universe.

Not sure what the day will bring except the possibility of freezing rain and ice pellets. No notice of school closures - maybe they've decided to brave it. Just let the dogs back in and it IS raining, but not freezing - yet!

Since today is Sadie Hawkins Day, I'll go through my list of gentleman friends and decide who is ready for a proposal!

Good morning sun is just coming up and it looks to be another nice day!

Debbie glad your pocketbook is happy Are you riding next weekend or watching? My friend Pamela is in CO until Wednesday. She and her BF went to see the Avalanche play at Boykder Stadium. She sent me pictures of some cyclists as motivation for our ride in May.

Ruth you literally scared the pee right out of Angus! lol Glad he knows who the boss is. I think I'll spare Joe a proposal, don't want to scare the pee out of him lol.

Up early today for a full day of running around. I do plan a trip to the mall. I have a retirement party Saturday night and as usual have nothing to wear. Ed and his wife Jen are going. She asked me what I was wearing. My response pj's!!! She said we should match lol since I'm his work wife. I've liked Jen since the first time we met nearly 15 years ago.

we went to dinner last night at Johnny Rockets. Joe's DS picked. Since he never cares where we go this was huge that he was decisive. IMHO I hope we don't go there again lol. However I weighed in at my goal weight today. So that makes me a happy girl.

Debbie - you should've had your coffee by now, are you bright eyed and bushy tailed now? Hope you have some relaxation in the day too!

Ruth - poor little angus . He does sound like an interesting character! We don't allow the animals on the bed either (well, the cats can at nap time ), but I almost wonder if I was gone if DH would allow the dog. She is now his BFF, which just makes me laugh!

Jennifer - WOO HOO for goal weight! You're a rock star! What type of PJ's are you wearing to the party? I have some new ones with penguins on them from Kohl's that are super soft . Those would be my dressy PJ's!

Nothing on tap for today. I don't think I ever wrote that my appointments last week did not produce what I hoped for (wow, surprise surprise), but somehow I have 3 other opinions in the next month - it often takes 3-4 months to get in some places (and two of these are large referral centers), so I am grateful to have them that quickly.

Maybe I will run to Wegman's, but for y'all that know Wegman's, that can be dangerous....

The birds are chirping away today. We had some excitement in our little town yesterday, the Dollar General burnt to the ground. I happened to be there when it caught on fire. It was super windy day and somehow the cardboard in the dumpster by the building caught on fire and it caught the building on fire. By the time, we got to my car a third of the side of the building was roaring on fire it took about 4 minutes for the whole building to catch on fire. Scary. Luckily besides me and DD2 there was only workers left and we were all outside and safe.

Today is back to work for me, wfh today and do have a few meetings and catching up on work from last week.

Good afternoon, chicks and welcome to the extra day of your life.

Ruth, we had the freezing rain (again!) this morning. School delayed but we did open. I guess they are saving our next snow day for the 8-12 inches that are supposed to come tomorrow night into Wednesday! LOL on Sadie Hawkins Day; I remember in high school we had a dance on that weekend. Enjoy your day with the doggies.

Debbie, may the work day fly by and be lucrative.

Jennifer, I am so impressed you reached your goal weight! I spent most of the month down but after a weekend of restaurant food I was definitely retaining water. Since tonight will be a bit of an off-plan celebration I will commit to staying OP in March.

Tammy, I've got some nice new fleece pjs; maybe I should wear them to my next event! How was Wegman's? I'm so jealous...

Pearlrose, that must have been a bit scary! I can't imagine witnessing a store fire.
